1 Research on the Relationship among Uncertainty Tolerance,Decision-Making Logic and Radical Innovation Performance

In this study,255 product development and technology R&D personnel and market developers from Wuhan industrial park,incubator,pioneer park and other companies were selected as valid samples.This study explores the relationship among uncertainty tolerance(UT),decision-making logic(causal/effect logic) and radical innovation by using hierarchical regression method.The results show that:UT is positively correlated with radica innovation; UT is negatively correlated with causal logic and positively correlated with effect logic; radical innovation is negatively correlated with causal logic and positively correlated with effect logic; causal/effect logic play a mediating role in the relationship between UT and radical innovation;UT positively moderates the relationship between effect logic and radica innovation,but has no significant moderating effect on the relationship between causal logic and radical innovation.This research is of great significance in guiding the practice of innovation management in enterprises.

10 Venture Capital and Enterprise Innovation:Empirical Evidence based on PSM Model

Under the background of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation",it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the impact of venture capital intervention on enterprise innovation performance.This paper takes the Growth Enterprises Market Board (GEM) companies from 2010 to 2017 as samples,and uses the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) model to empirically analyze the impact of venture capital intervention on the innovation performance of enterprises.The research findings are as follows:First,venture capital can significantly promote the increase of innovation performance of enterprises,such as the number of patent applications,and has a significant positive effect on the number of invention patent applications and utility model patent applications,but has no significant impact on design patents.The potential impact of venture capital with different characteristics and strategies on innovation performance is further investigated,and the research find that:Joint investment can promote the increase of enterprise innovation performance compares with individual investment.State-owned venture capital has the orientation of policy,stronger orientation of invention and longer investment time,which can significantly improve the improvement of the company’s innovation performance,while the impact of private venture capital and foreign venture capital on the company's innovation performance is not completely stable.

19 Business Model Innovation Based on Block Chain Technology:Value Proposition and Application Scenarios

With the gradual rise of Bitcoin and other digital encryption currencies,as a new decentralized infrastructure and distributed computing paradigm,Block chaining technology has attracted great attention from governments,enterprises and the market.Block chain technology has the characteristics of centralization,openness,transparency,traceability,non-tampering,and highly autonomy.It will motivate new business models in the business field.First,based on the technical characteristics of block chain,we analyzed the unique value proposition of business mode under block chain,and then analyzed the main application scenarios of business mode innovation based on three different ways of block chain:private chain,alliance chain and public chain.We provide a preliminary analysis framework for the government or enterprises to explore the business model innovation in the era of block chain.

26 The Signaling Effects of R&D Subsidy and Enterprise Innovation on Investors' Investment Decisions of Technology-based SMEs

Based on the signaling theory and the perspective of internal and external signals,using thedataofChina'slisted technology-based SMEsfrom2012to2018,the paper develops a clustered robust two-way fixed effect model and empirically tests the influence mechanism of R&D subsidy and enterprise innovation and their interaction on investor’sinvestment decisions.The results show that R&D subsidy is a significant positive correlated with external investor’s investment decision,which can bring more external investment to technology-based SMEs.High-risk enterprise innovation will inhibit the investment behavior of external investor,and send negative signals to external investor.On the interaction between government subsidy and enterprise innovation,direct subsidy can weaken the negative impact of innovation output,while indirect subsidy are positively regulate the negative signals that innovation output delivers to investors.At the end of the paper,some policy suggestions are put forward to ease the financing constraints of technology-based SMEs.

34 Do the Technological Information Acquisition,Science and Technology Subsidies Affect Enterprises' Innovation Capability?

Technology and capital are key elements of enterprise innovation activities.Based on the data of 31 provinces and cities from 2014 to 2017,this paper analyzes and empirically tests whether technological information acquisition and government science and technology funding affect regional enterprises' innovation capability.The results show that the technological information acquisition has a significant positive impact on the regional enterprises' innovation capability; government science and technology funding have significant "inhibiting effects" on regional enterprise innovation activities; The interaction of technology information acquisition and government science and technology funding has a significant negative impact on regional enterprises' innovation capability.The conclusion of the study is that whether government science and technology support is "supporting effect" or "inhibiting effect" for regional enterprises' innovation ability,how to build infrastructure such as technology information network,and how to formulate government science and technology subsidy policy have certain reference significance.

42 The Study on Military and Civilian Integration,Government Scientific and Technological Support and Technological Innovation Efficiency

Through spatial data analysis methods,the distribution pattern of military-civilian integration,government science and technology support,and technological innovation efficiency across provinces in China is examined.Research shows that all three have significant positive spatial correlations,ie,positive spatial spillover effects,and in different regions.As a result of the formation of local agglomeration space,there is a phenomenon of high and low non-equilibrium “clubs”.Based on the spatial error model and spatial lag model,the empirical test of the impact of military-civil integration and government science and technology support on the efficiency of technological innovation shows that:from the perspective of the country and regions,military integration and government scientific and technological support can all significantly promote the efficiency of technological innovation.And there are obvious interactions between the two,which can exert their complementary effects and further promote the efficiency of technological innovation.At the same time,the study finds that the influence of military-civil integration and government science and technology support in different regions on the efficiency of technological innovation is quite different.Western region role of military-civilian integration and government science and technology support in promoting the efficiency of technological innovation is more obvious than in the eastern and central regions; some other factors that affect the efficiency of technological innovation are analyzed.

51 A Study on the Measurement of Regional Knowledge Complexity and its Impact on Innovation in China

In the report of the 19th National Congress,it was clearly stated that "innovation is the first driving force for development and the strategic support for building a modern economic system".As the core driving force of innovation,the importance of knowledge has attracted more and more scholars' attention.Based on Hidalgo's H-H reflection method and data from 15 988 864 patents,this paper constructs a measurement model of regional knowledge complexity in China,and finds out its impact on regional innovation.We found that:①although the ability of mastering scarce technology in theeastern region is higher than that in the central and western regions,the lag situation in the central and western regions is improving,and they are gradually entering new technological fields; ②knowledge complexity has a greater impact on innovation-efficient regions (the Eastern region),but the inefficient regions (the central and western regions) have a higher marginal gain of scarce knowledge.The policy implication of the above findings is that regions should aim at gathering diversified and high-quality knowledge rather than merely seeking competitive advantage in a single field.

China has entered the era of global discourse competition,and the inevitable requirement of China's high-quality development is that industrial cluster collaborative innovation has also been upgraded to collaborative high-quality innovation,while the state-created zone is to enhance the country's independent innovation capability and global discourse power.Strategic initiatives to promote industrial clusters to collaborate with high-quality innovation is an important path to improve regional innovation systems and build regional innovation and entrepreneurship highlands.On the basis of combing the collaborative innovation status and high-quality innovation characteristics of the industrial clusters in the country,the industrial clusters based on value chain,industry chain and knowledge chain are constructed to collaborate with high quality innovation.In the aspect of industrial clusters collaborating with high-quality innovation models,the company mainly proposes the enterprise-led model,the talent-supported model,the platform-guided model,and the institutional cooperation model.It points out that this is an important characteristic of high-quality innovation,and it is also the theoretical innovation of this paper.At the office.Finally,in view of how to further promote the development of high-quality innovation in industrial clusters,a series of suggestions are proposed from four aspects:overall planning,talent management reform,scientific and technological innovation management,and service system.

66 China's Strategic Emerging Industry Innovation Capability Evaluation and Policy Research

Based on the perspective of competence,this paper combines the national innovation-driven development strategy and innovation management theory,and builds China's strategic emerging industry innovation capability evaluation system from five aspects:innovation policy support.The data of strategic emerging industries in 31 provincial-level administrative regions in China were collected from 2010 to 2016.The factor analysis and cluster analysis method were used to measure the innovation ability of strategic emerging industries in various provincial-level administrative regions in China,and revealed the innovation of strategic emerging industries in different regions.The differences and reasons of ability,and the category judgment of 31 provincial-level administrative regions in China.The study finds that China's strategic emerging industries have weak overall innovation capabilities,and regional development imbalances still exist; most regions have innovation shortcomings,and the “barrel effect” limits the overall innovation potential of the region; the innovation capabilities of different regions are roughly pyramidal.Distribution,and the gap between the "Hu line" is obvious.Finally,policy recommendations are given for the actual situation and regional characteristics of different regions.

74 The Threshold Effects of Both FDI Spillover and OFDI Spillover on Regional Innovation of High-tech Industries

On an open perspective,based on the data of provincial high-tech industries in Chinese from 2003 to 2016,the threshold panel model was established taking R&D personnel input as the threshold variable,to analyze the nonlinear effects of both FDI and OFDI spillover on regional innovation of China's high-tech industries empirically.The following robust conclusions are:Both FDI spillover and OFDI spillover have double threshold effect on regional innovation of high-tech industries.The former shows the trend firstly goes up then down,while the latter firstly goes down and then rise.R&D personnel investment,R&D capital accumulation,and urbanization level are conducive to regional innovation of high-tech industries,but the financial maturity does not.Government support may inhibit innovation of provinces` high-tech industries that have high level of R&D personnel investment; From 2003 to 2016,the number of provinces that cross the threshold of medium and high R&D personnel investment is increasing.

82 Network Tie Strength,Technological Diversification and Firms' Product Innovation Strategy

In the modular innovation network,core enterprises reorganize network knowledge modules through interface rules,and manage integration of knowledge with module suppliers and system integrator in vertical and horizontal directions.By taking the vehicle manufacturers of china's automobile industry from 2001 to 2014 as our research sample,we discuss the influence of modular innovation network tie strength on the incremental product innovation and radical product innovation,we also analyze the moderating effect of technological diversification.The research found that,tie strength with module suppliers plays a greater role in improving incremental product innovation,while tie strength with system integrator plays a greater role in improving radical product innovation.At the same time,technological diversification weakens the positive relationship between module supplier tie strength and incremental product innovation,while enhance the positive relationship between system integrator tie strength and radical product innovation.

89 The Influence of R&D Mode on Manufacturing Enterprise's Innovation Performance

The research and development modes of enterprises are divided into three types:independent R&D,cooperative R&D and dual R&D.Based on the World Bank survey data of Chinese manufacturing enterprises,this paper explores the effect of different research and development modes on enterprise innovation performance and their differences among heterogeneous enterprises by means of propensity score matching.The research on the whole sample shows that the incentive effect of corporate dual R&D on innovation performance is the best,the incentive effect of cooperative R&D is the second,and the incentive effect of independent R&D is the weakest.The research on differentiation of enterprise heterogeneity shows that for high-growth enterprises,independent R&D has the strongest incentive effect on enterprise innovation performance,while for low-growth enterprises and small and micro enterprises,cooperative R&D has the stronger incentive effect.For enterprises without financing constraints,dual R&D mode is the best choice to improve innovation performance,but for enterprises with financing constraints,dual R&D mode has the weakest promotion effect.

This paper explores the cluster effect of R&D investment of high-tech enterprises,especially the impact of market environment uncertainty and intellectual property protection reflecting institutional environment on the cluster effect of R&D investment of high-tech enterprises.Empirical analysis of the data of high-tech listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen A shares from 2009 to 2017 shows that:①R&D investment of high-tech enterprises has significant clustering effect;②environmental uncertainty significantly negatively regulates the clustering effect of R&D investment of high-tech enterprises,that is,environmental uncertainty weakens the industry convergence of R&D investment of enterprises;③intellectual property protection significantly positively regulates the cluster effect of R&D investment of high-tech enterprises,that is,intellectual property protection strengthens the industry convergence of R&D investment of enterprises.This paper enriches the research results of the same-group effect of R&D investment,and provides a new perspective for investigating the impact of external market and institutional environment on the same-group effect of R&D investment.

106 Whether Informal Environmental Regulation Can Promote Industrial Enterprise R&D

In the face of environmental governance and industrial development,informal environmental regulation has opened up a new path.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces and cities from 2007 to 2016,informal regulation,cash flow and operating efficiency were selected as threshold variables on the basis of distinguishing R&D input from R&D outputs.The non-linear relationship between informal regulation and industrial R&D was studied with the threshold panel model.The results show that informal regulation on input and achievement of industrial R&D has a single threshold effect.The effect of informal environmental regulation on R&D input and R&D results is also affected by the cash flow and operating efficiency of industrial enterprises.When researching the impact of informal environmental regulations on R&D investment,there is a single threshold for cash flow and a double threshold for operating efficiency.There is a single threshold for cash flow and operating efficiency When researching the impact of informal environmental regulations on R&D results.

115 The Knowledge Capital,Organizational Character and Future Orientation of Innovative Enterprises

Integrating the intellectual management and future orientation theories,the realization mechanism of future orientation which is reflected as social responsibility and R&D trend is explored from the perspectives of knowledge capital and organizational character.It takes 94 Chinese listed enterprises from top 1000 global innovative enterprises in 2018 as samples to study the relationships between the knowledge capital,organizational character and future orientation by the method of regression analysis on the basis of collecting data from 2015 to 2017.The results show that:knowledge capital is positively relative to R&D trend; introverted character is positively relative to both R&D trend and social responsibility,and; intuitive,perceptive and affective character significantly moderate the impacts of knowledge capital on R&D trend.The conclusions provide new evidences for the intellectual management and enlighten innovative enterprises to better plan for future and seek sustainable growth.

The paper introduces the p-GNC network,the latest development of complex networks,into the research of innovation diffusion,and analyses the influence of network structure,the intensity of network effect and the proportion of innovators on the scale of innovation diffusion using the multi-agent based modeling and simulation method.It shows that the structure of p-GNC network significantly affects the scale of innovation diffusion.The larger the average clustering coefficient and the smaller the average degree is,the higher the scale of innovation diffusion will be.What is more,the average degree of p-GNC network is the determinant of the scale of innovation diffusion.The intensity of network effect has a positive impact on the scale of innovation diffusion,and in the network with higher network effect intensity,the impact of p-GNC network structure change on the scale of innovation diffusion is greater.The proportion of innovators also positively affects the scale of innovation diffusion.When the network effect is high and the p-GNC network is in a sparse state,the promotion effect of innovators on the scale of innovation diffusion decreases with the increase of the proportion of innovators.

135 The Influence of Academic Qualifications and First Job Promotion

Based on the research of domestic household appliances and automobile industry of 40 listed companies(20 respectively),219 key inventors were extracted from all patents on inventions and utility patents from 1995 to 2015,according to their types of creation,they were categorized into rapid growth type (rapidly rising but slowly declines in creativity) and slow type (slowly rising but rapidly declines in creativity).Then starting from individual attributes,this paper studies the influence of the first job promotion and academic qualifications on the creativity of the key inventors in the ascent stage of their career.By using the Logit statistical model,it is found that if the first job promotion occurs in their ascent stage,they are more likely to be a slow type rather than rapid growth type.The higher academic qualifications key inventors have in their ascent stage,the more likely they are to be rapid growth type rather than slow type.This study theoretically enriches the research on the factors affecting the creativity of key inventors and has practical guidance on how to realize the rapid growth of key inventors.Also it is helpful for enterprises to perfect the selection mechanism and management strategy of key inventors.

143 Employee Creativity and their Innovation:the Moderating Effect of Supervisor-Subordinate Guanxi and Goal Orientation

It was a popular phenomenon that how to transform creativity into employee innovation.A questionnaire survey study,in which managers and employees from 4 state-owned enterprises were involved,was designed to explore the moderating effect of supervisor-subordinate Guanxi and goal orientation on the relationship between creativity and employee innovation.The results showed that:supervisor-subordinate Guanxi significantly decreased the positive effect of creativity on employee innovation; learning goal orientation increased positive effect of creativity on employee innovation; learning/proving goal orientation increased/decreased the moderating effect of supervisor-subordinate Guanxi on creativity and employee innovation.These results revealed the contingency and complex relationship between creativity and employee innovation,and provided theoretical inspiration and practice guidance for managers to scientifically and effectively manage creativity and employee innovation.
