21 The Influence of Network Embeddness and R&D Experience on Inventor Selection in Pre-research Stage of Communication Enterprises
Wang Yalan,Sun Xiaoming,Wang Chengjun,Cui Wentian
Pre-research is related to the competitive advantage of enterprises in the future industry development, but the previous studies mostly focused on defense and military enterprises, and less on general civil enterprises. From the perspective of the network structure embedded by inventors and the characteristics of inventors' own attributes, this paper analyses the influence of the selection of pre-research inventors in the technological process of the leap from 3G to 4G in communication enterprises, and gives three hypotheses:betweeness centrality,self-centered network structure hole,R&D experience.Through the logistic regression analysis of rare events,it is found that the more structural holes in the self-centered network and the richer R&D technology experience in the past, the more likely the inventor will be selected to enter the pre-research activities of enterprises. The conclusion of this paper has significant application value and provides decision-making basis for human resource management in enterprise pre-research.
