1. Submission and Review Process
(1) The only submission method for this journal is online submission through the official website (www.kjjb.org). Authors should register and log in to the website for submission and obtain a manuscript number. Authors should provide the complete names, affiliations, and contact information of all authors and accurately select the article section during submission.
(2) This journal adopts a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts undergo preliminary screening by the editorial office, external review by peer experts, and final review by the Final Review Committee. The preliminary screening mainly examines the manuscript's relevance to the journal's aims and scope, academic quality, academic standards, research integrity, and formatting requirements. Manuscripts that pass the preliminary screening are sent to at least two independent peer reviewers. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript in terms of originality, scientific rigor, logic, reliability, research integrity, academic standards, and theoretical and practical value. The final decision is made by the Final Review Committee based on peer review reports, editorial assessment, and the journal's publication arrangements.
(3) The editorial office normally completes the preliminary screening within one week after receiving a manuscript and informs the author of the result. Manuscripts that pass preliminary screening enter the peer review stage. The peer review process generally takes about one month. Authors may log in to the submission system to check the manuscript status. For inquiries, authors may contact the editorial office by telephone or through the WeCom customer service channel.
(4) The final acceptance decision will be communicated to the author through the submission system and by email. Accepted manuscripts will be scheduled for publication according to the submission time, section arrangement, and other publication considerations.
2. Review Fee and Article Processing Charge (APC)
(1) This journal does not charge any submission fee or review fee.
(2) After acceptance, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC is charged based on the number of pages, at a rate of RMB 600 per page, with a maximum amount of RMB 10,000. The APC will be notified to the author before the manuscript is officially published.
(3) After publication, the journal will send a complimentary copy of the print issue to the author.
(4) All accepted manuscripts are made freely and openly available in full text on the journal's official website (www.kjjb.org), without registration or payment. All users may directly read and download the articles. Online-first articles and formally published articles are made openly available on the journal website without embargo.

3. Submission Guidelines

(1) Submitted manuscripts should be original works of first publication, demonstrating innovation, academic merit, scientific rigor, and standardization. They must not have been published in any publicly available publications (including journals, newspapers, monographs, proceedings, dissertations, conference proceedings, etc.) or online platforms in any form, and must not involve plagiarism, duplicate submission, or repeated publication, or any other form of academic misconduct.

(2) This journal utilizes the Academic Misconduct Literature Check System (AMLC) for Science and Technology Journals to perform text similarity detection on every manuscript entering the second review stage. The similarity rate generally should not exceed 10%. Manuscripts failing to meet this requirement will be rejected.

(3) Submitted manuscripts must not contain state secrets. Submitting authors are responsible for the confidentiality of their manuscripts.

(4) The authorship and author order of the manuscript should be carefully verified and confirmed before submission. In principle, changes to the author list and affiliation information are not accepted after submission. If modifications are indeed necessary due to special circumstances, a written request signed by all authors must be provided and approved by the editorial department.

(5) This journal reserves the right to make editorial revisions and value enhancements to accepted manuscripts.

(6) Upon submission of the manuscript, it is deemed that the author(s) agree that this journal shall possess the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, translation, compilation, and adaptation of the manuscript, and authorize this journal to sublicense the aforementioned rights to cooperative online publishing platforms (such as CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP Information, Chaoxing, etc.). This journal will disseminate accepted manuscripts through various forms, including print journals and online platforms.

(7) This journal has joined databases such as CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP Information, Chaoxing Domain Publishing Platform, and Dragon Source Periodicals Network. Accepted manuscripts will be initially published online or digitally on these platforms. All accepted manuscripts will also be freely and openly accessible in full text on the journal's official website (www.kjjb.org), without the need for registration or payment, and any user can directly view and download them. If authors do not explicitly state their disagreement with online publication when submitting their manuscripts, it will be deemed consent for the journal to publish the manuscript online and make it freely available on the official website.

(8) Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscript must submit a written withdrawal application to the editorial department and state the reasons. Manuscript withdrawal at different processing stages will incur a certain editorial service fee depending on the specific circumstances.
