Copyright License Agreement
The author(s) of this manuscript (copyright owner) agree to submit it for publication in Science & Technology Progress and Policy, and voluntarily transfer the partial copyright of the paper to the editorial department of Science & Technology Progress and Policy worldwide after the paper is accepted for publication, and clarify the relevant issues as follows:
I. The author(s) guarantee that the manuscript is an original work, does not involve any confidential information, and has not been submitted to other journals simultaneously, including submissions to other journals or this journal after partial modifications. The author(s) also promise not to publish the main content of this manuscript in other publicly available publications (including journals, newspapers, monographs, proceedings, dissertations, etc.) prior to its publication in Science & Technology Progress and Policy.
II. Once the submitted manuscript is accepted, all authors agree to transfer the copyright of the entire paper, including all rights of reproduction and dissemination of figures, tables, abstracts, or other extractable parts from the paper—including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, performance, translation, compilation, and adaptation—to the editorial department of Science & Technology Progress and Policy for the duration of the copyright protection period. The editorial department has the right to sublicense all or part of the above rights to third parties. To ensure open access, after the article is published, this journal will license users worldwide to copy, distribute, exhibit, perform, project, broadcast, or communicate the work to the public through information networks under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), but not for commercial purposes or derivative use.
III. The author(s) guarantee that there is no dispute regarding authorship. The author(s) shall be responsible for any authorship disputes.
IV. Among the rights transferred in Article II of this agreement, the author(s) enjoy the following rights after the article is published:
1) The author(s) may cite (or translate) parts of the paper in their subsequent works. 2) The author(s) may store the electronic version of the paper on their personal or institutional website, provided that the source is indicated. 3) The author(s) may use the paper in accordance with the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license agreement. Except for the above rights, for the rights transferred in Article II of this agreement, the author(s) shall not use or authorize others to use the paper in any form that conflicts with the journal's publication purpose. However, the author(s) may compile the paper in their non-periodical collections.
V. This journal does not charge a review fee for submitted manuscripts (starting from 200 RMB). Royalties and licensing fees (including sublicense fees) are offset against the manuscript review fee, and the editorial department will not pay separately.
VI. If the manuscript is ultimately not accepted for publication by this journal, this agreement will automatically become invalid, and the copyright of the manuscript will remain with the author(s).
VII. Agreement to and completion of submission by the author(s) shall be deemed as acceptance of this agreement.
