Announcement on the Reasonable Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools in Manuscript Submiss
To reasonably and standardly use artificial intelligence tools to promote academic research, advance the construction of academic integrity, and safeguard the originality, authenticity, and rigor of academic achievements published in this journal, the statement on the use of AI tools in writing papers submitted to this journal is as follows:
1. The content of papers submitted to this journal shall not be generated by AI tools, including the core views, main structure, text content, data, figures, formulas, conclusions, etc., as well as revision explanations.
2. If AI tools are used in the writing of the paper to assist in inspiring ideas, collecting information, analyzing data, polishing text, etc., the author must provide relevant explanations at the end of the paper and promise that the explanation is complete and true. Specifically, the name, version, and specific usage of the AI tool used must be stated, and the AI tool conversation records, including the original prompts and generated content, must be provided. If used for polishing text, the polished content needs to be marked with annotations.
3. This journal has enabled an AIGC detection system and established a review mechanism for AI-generated content. For articles that deliberately conceal AI-generated content, the editorial department may, depending on the stage of the manuscript processing, not accept, reject, or retract the paper. If academic misconduct is constituted, appropriate action will be taken according to relevant regulations.
4. Article authors must abide by academic integrity and be responsible for the use of AI tools in papers submitted to this journal.
This regulation shall come into effect on June 1, 2025, and shall be interpreted by the Editorial Department of "Science and Technology Progress and Policy", and will be appropriately adjusted in due course according to the development of generative artificial intelligence technology.
