Abstract The innovation ecosystem is regarded as fertile ground for cultivating disruptive innovation, and its increasingly uncertain characteristics have opened a window of opportunity for disruptive innovation. In the new round of technological revolution and digital economic transformation, disruptive innovation has become an important way for a country to break through technological blockades and achieve technological self-improvement.Disruptive innovation pursues a pathway in the new technology and market track, and its model of "overtaking on the curve" provides a viable path for the technological development of developing countries. The existing research has proven that companies will adopt the two strategic stances of "adapting" and "remodeling" in the uncertain external situation. For latecomer enterprises at the edge of the value network of the innovation ecosystem, the constraints of resource endowment and the relationship allocation force them to seek new development logic and accurately grasp new development opportunities for competition. Therefore, under the uncertain condition of the innovation ecosystem, it becomes the research focus on the uncertain condition to figure out how the latecomers can establish a unique competitive advantage through disruptive innovation, boost the vitality of the innovation ecosystem and form a leap-forward development trend.#br#To deal with the uncertain condition of the innovation ecosystem, ambidextrous dynamic capability is the key for latecomers to realizing disruptive innovation.Dynamic capability is the ability of an enterprise to quickly respond to external changes and make dynamic adjustments.Latecomers with dynamic capabilities are able to break through the shackles of original development, quickly identify opportunities in uncertain conditions and update resources promptly.Uncertain conditions are different, innovation ecosystems have significant complexity and collective characteristics due to the multi-layered structure and the dynamic development trend of multi-agent relationships. The existing research confirms that in a complex and changeable external environment, the innovation effect of latecomers depends not only on the company's immediate opportunity perception and adaptability (cognitive dynamic ability), but also on the previous experience, special inertia and organizational structure (non-cognitive dynamic abilities). Therefore, this paper focuses on the mediating effects of ambidextrous dynamic capabilities between ecosystem uncertainty and disruptive innovation.#br#Disruptive innovation of latecomers depends not only on the dynamic capabilities of the organization itself, but also on compatibility with external ecological features.Disruptive innovation is a dynamic process of multi-factor matching and multi-stage implementation. In the face of uncertain factors such as technology trajectory, market competition and policy environment in the ecosystem, dynamic capabilities can help latecomers accurately identify development opportunities in the innovation ecosystem, open up new competitive tracks, and adjust the organizational structure according to their own advantages. Therefore, the construction of dynamic capabilities is closely related to the characteristics of the external environment, and compatibility with the ecosystem will also become an important factor for enterprises to build dynamic capabilities and stimulate disruptive innovation. The current research mainly focuses on the impact of ecosystem competition factors on dynamic capacity, and the of research of ecosystems openness is insufficient.A more open innovation ecosystem can be more compatible with companies, for it can effectively enhance their willingness and perception of disruptive innovation. In addition, the entry barriers will be fewer in a more innovation ecosystem, and the interaction between companies is more frequent, which can help them establish stable cooperative relations. Therefore, this paper focuses on the moderating effect of ecosystem openness on the relationship between uncertainty and the dynamic capacities of latecomers.#br#Thus, this paper mainly explores the realization of disruptive innovation of latecomers in the ecosystem uncertainty situation. The SOR model is used to construct a process mechanism of "situational stimulus— capacity building—disruptive behavior" with the focus on the dynamic capabilities building process between the external stimulus of uncertain condition and the disruptive innovation of latecomers. It puts external factors and internal factors within the same theoretical framework to deeply analyze the key factors and formation logic of disruptive innovation.#br#
