Abstract Innovation ecosystem has become an important research subject which gives rise to great attention in academia and business. This study has explored the evolution law of corporate innovation ecosystem from evolutionary basis, evolution path, evolution mode as well as dynamic evolution and built the evolution model based on two typical cases of iOS and Android in the mobile communications industry. This research will provide theoretical and practical suggestions for Chinese enterprises to establish a competitive innovation ecosystem.
