Abstract The second Asia-Eurasian Continental Bridge is a new channel with a short time, low cost and market competitiveness for Central Asia and Europe. The channel along the bridge will have an important impact on the agglomeration of the manufacturing industry and will give the central and western regions create new economic growth point. In this paper, the three methods of location entropy, space Gini coefficient and E-G index are used to study the impact and extent of agglomeration of industry segments on the provinces of Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Xinjiang provinces and the provinces' 34 specific industries in manufacturing industry in order to study the development trend of manufacturing and guide the rational distribution of manufacturing industry. Finally, three important conclusions are drawn.
