1 The Peer Effect of Enterprise Digital Transformation
Li Qian,Wang Shihao,Deng Peidong,Wang Keyun
The outbreak of COVID-19 and the shocks of geopolitical risks have brought great challenges to China's economic development. Technological innovation, the flow of production factors and the confidence of economic agents have also suffered. In order to boost the market vitality, digital transformation has become one of the value strategies for firms. Digital transformation can effectively reduce information asymmetry and optimize resource utilization and improve productivity;it helps to reduce operating risk and improve internal and external governance to reduce debt default risk and it promotes stakeholders' participation of business decisions, and strengthens the orientation of corporate social responsibility.#br#With the popularity of digital transformation in enterprises, the research on digital transformation has been enriched gradually, covering the measurement of digital transformation and the economic consequences of digital transformation, such as enterprise value, enterprise risk and strategic decision. Although existing studies have confirmed the positive effects of digital transformation, little literature has explored the mutual influence of corporate digital transformation behavior. This paper proposes that the firms' decision-making behavior will influence each other, and the digital transformation of firms may be affected by the peer firms' digital transformation from the two following aspects. According to the information imitation theory, there are serious information asymmetry between firms and their stakeholders in an uncertainty environment. In order to reduce information costs, the firms are more likely to imitate the actions containing value information of other firms. Digital transformation, as a kind of value strategy, can effectively reduce the degree of information asymmetry between firms and investors, and improve the capital market performance. By imitating the digital transformation behavior of other firms, firms with low information transparency pass more information about firms' values to investors to reduce their information costs. In addition, firms with high information transparency can disclose more information about digital transformation, which provides the opportunity for firms with low information transparency. Thus, the firms with low information transparency are more likely to imitate peer digital transformation. According to the market competition theory, in order to maintain market position, the firms are willing to monitor and imitate the digital transformation of peer firms. In the industries with fierce competition, digital transformation can alleviate the difficulty in accessing finance, and reduce operating costs, and help firms obtain more cash flow, which will further intensify industry competition and lead to higher bankruptcy risks for firms. Thus the firms have a stronger incentive to emulate and learn from the digital transformation of their peers in order to obtain credit and reduce operating costs;then they can withstand predatory attacks from competitors and maintain existing market positions. In addition, for the industries with high degree of competition, firms usually implement the same strategy with their peers due to the cruel competitive elimination mechanism. However, the process of digital transformation needs a large amount of capital investment. Once the peers begin to implement digital transformation, firms will imitate and learn from their peers' digital transformation to reduce costs, hence the firms in highly competitive industries are more likely to imitate peer digital transformation.#br#This study analyzes the peer effect of digital transformation between firms in the same industry. On the basis of the annual reports of A-share listed firms in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock markets, it uses Python to extract the frequency of words related to digital transformation and the frequency is used to measure the level of firms' digital transformation. Further, from the perspectives of CEO characteristics, firms' information environment and industry competition, it comprehensively expounds the mechanism of the peer effect in firms' digital transformation.#br#It is found that the firms' digital transformation behavior has a significant peer effect;the information environment and the market competition is the main factor of digital transformation effect;the peer effect of digital transformation is stronger in the firm with male CEO or highly educated CEO, and located in low FinTech development regions;the followers and leaders in the same industry imitate each other, but followers imitate leaders more. Further studies show that only firms with high level of digitalization benefit by imitating the peers' digital transformation. This paper not only reveals the influence mechanism and economic consequences of the digital transformation of Chinese listed firms, but also provides relevant theoretical basis and empirical evidences for promoting the firms' digital transformation.#br#

13 Value Chain Remodeling Mechanism in the Digital Transformation of Enterprises:A Longitudinal Case Study Based on Huawei and Midea
Zhu Xiumei,Lin Xiaoyue
The digital transformation of enterprises has become a hot issue of common concern in both academia and practice in recent years. Many Chinese enterprises take digital transformation as their next development focus. Enterprises with successful digital transformation normally develop from initial exploration to digitally-driven value chain operations, such as transforming digitalization from focusing on a single link, industry, or field to a comprehensive mapping of all links in the value chain, continuously using digital technology to remodel the value chain, and accelerating cross-border integration and synergy with multiple external entities. How to remodel the value chain is a challenge for enterprises facing the digital transformation, and it is also a theoretical frontier problem that needs to be solved. However, the value chain remodeling mechanism in the digital transformation of enterprises involves both digital transformation and value chain, yet they have not established sufficient connection, and there is a lack of attention on the value chain remodeling in digital transformation. Therefore, it is also the core issue of this paper to investigate the value chain remodeling mechanism in the digital transformation of enterprises.#br#This paper selects Huawei and Midea for a longitudinal dual case study, relying on the logical line of "technology-behavior/capability-result" of technology empowerment theory, and constructs a "digital technology-resource orchestration-value chain remodeling". The study explores the dynamic evolution mechanism of value chain remodeling in the process of digital transformation, reveals the realization path and value transmission mechanism of value chain remodeling, and compares and analyzes the similarities and differences of the value chain remodeling mechanism between Huawei as a foundation -oriented enterprise and Midea as an application-oriented enterprise.#br#It is found that digital technology is the engine and the most fundamental driver of value chain remodeling and that by empowering the new resource combination of data resources and traditional resources, it enhances resource bundling, and innovates resource leveraging methods, thereby triggering value chain remodeling. In the digitalization stage, the value chain remodeling of foundation -oriented enterprises follows the path of "single-point digital technology and distributed digital technology-deep resource structuring, stabilizing resource bundling, business leveraging-value chain digital rebirth and value chain digital co-progression". The value chain remodeling mechanism of application-oriented enterprises follows the path of "single-point digital technology-deep resource structuring, enriching resource bundling, environmental leveraging-value chain digital rebirth and value chain digital co-progression". In the networking stage, the value chain remodeling of foundation-oriented enterprises follows the path of "distributed digital technology-extensive resource structuring, enriching resource bundling, platform leveraging-value chain digital twin and value chain digital co-creation";the value chain remodeling of application-oriented enterprises follows the path of "distributed digital technology-extensive resource structuring, enriching resource bundling, platform leveraging-value chain digital twin and value chain digital co-creation". In the intelligence stage, the value chain remodeling mechanism in the digital transformation of enterprise follows the path of "distributed digital technology, intelligent technology-deep and extensive resource structuring, pioneering resource bundling, human-machine leveraging-value chain digital newborn and value chain digital co-evolution". The differences in the starting point, motivation, and transformative nature of digital transformation between foundation-oriented and application-oriented enterprises bring differences in value chain remodeling mechanisms in the digitalization and networking stages.#br#This paper innovatively constructs a research framework of "digital technology-resource orchestration-value chain remodeling" to explore the dynamic evolution law of the value chain remodeling mechanism of foundation-oriented enterprises and application-oriented enterprises, which to a certain extent makes up for the static and one-sided defects of related research. As a result, this research promotes the deep integration of digital transformation research and value chain research.Furthermore, it provides a new explanatory framework and ideas for the value chain remodeling in the digital transformation of enterprises based on technology empowerment theory and reveals the paths and laws of value chain remodeling in digitalization, networking, and intelligence stages of case enterprises based on the research framework, expanding the application context and research boundary of technology empowerment theory in digital transformation research. Finally, it clarifies the definition and dimensions of resource orchestration in the context of digital transformation, responding to the call of scholars for strengthening the exploration of the laws of resource orchestration in the era of big data by using the case study method.#br#

25 Synergistic and Mutual Promotion Effects of Digital Economy and Industrial High-quality Innovation
Yang Xin,Zhao Shouguo
In order to build an industrial Internet platform and digital factories, mutually promote industrialization and informatization, and then realize the synergy and mutual promotion of digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation, it is essential to accelerate the deep integration of digital economy and real economy. From the different dimensions of digital technology application and the theory of innovation value chain, this paper uses China's inter-provincial panel data to analyze the synergistic and mutual promotion effects of digital economy and industrial innovation efficiency.#br#On the one hand, this study focuses on the deep integration of digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation. By measuring the development level of the digital economy and the innovation efficiency of the two stages of industry, the coupling coordination degree model is used to investigate the synergistic evolution characteristics of the digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation. On the other hand, on the basis of synergy analysis, the mutual promotion mechanism is revealed by further constructing a panel vector auto-regressive model, so as to provide a reference for deepening the understanding of the interactive relationship between the digital economy and industrial innovation and development, and clarifying the orientation of industrial policies.#br#It is found that, first of all, in terms of synergistic effects, the degree of coupling and coordination between the digital economy and the innovation efficiency of various stages of industry has shown an overall upward trend during the investigation period, but it is still in a transitional range. From the perspective of sub-dimensions, industrial digitalization and its efficiency in industrial technology research and development have a higher level of coupling and coordination. In terms of spatial distribution, the synergistic effects of digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation presents obvious spatial differentiation characteristics, and the two have a higher level of coupling and coordination in relatively economically developed areas such as the southeast coast. At the same time, there is a significant spatial convergence of the synergistic effects of the digital economy and industrial high-quality innovation, and the spatial differences in the coordinated development of the two mainly come from interregional differences. Secondly, as far as mutual promotion effects are concerned, the historical information of digital economy and industrial high-quality innovation can explain each other's future changes well, and the historical information of digital economy and industrial high-quality innovation can explain each other's future changes well. From the perspective of sub-dimensions, there is a continuous and strong positive response between digital industrialization and industrial achievement transformation efficiency, and the information impact of industrial digitalization and industrial achievement transformation efficiency is the main source of mutual system fluctuations caused by digital economy and industrial high-quality innovation.#br#Through the comparative analysis of the research conclusions, it can be seen that there is a chain dislocation in the synergistic effects and mutual promotion effects of the digital economy and industrial high-quality innovation. From the perspective of policy orientation, the steady improvement of the transformation efficiency of industrial achievements is a key link to strengthen the coordinated development between digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation;it is a potential path to realize the mutual promotion and integration of digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation by giving full play to the empowering role of digital technology in improving the efficiency of industrial technology research and development. Therefore, the study stresses that regional development should focus on building an industrial ecosystem in which the digital economy and high-quality industrial innovation are synergistic and mutually reinforcing. While actively carrying out the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry and the digital empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises, the relevant parties should implement the traditional industrial informatization transformation project and the industrial Internet innovation development projects in depth so as to realize the chain connection of digital economy and industrial high-quality innovation synergistic and mutual promotion effects.#br#

35 Performance Expectation Gap and Corporate Digital Innovation: The Perspectives of Resource and Capability
Cui Yuwen,Liu Hong,Zhang Jing
Digital innovation has facilitated some Chinese companies to diversify their products and services, streamline their business processes and gain a place in the wave of digital economy. However, due to the high risks, long cycle and complexity of digital innovation, most enterprises are still in the initial stage of digital innovation, facing the dilemmas of resource and technology constraints, and industry development imbalance. How to steadily promote digital innovation has become an important issue faced by enterprises in the process of digital construction.#br#Scholars have proposed that performance expectation gap, as an important organizational factor, affects corporate digital innovation. However, following the corporate behavior theory, some scholars propose that influenced by the wave of digital economy, firms with the performance expectation gap tend to cope with the continuous decline of performance by adopting digital technology and carrying out digital innovation activities, i.e., performance expectation gap promotes digital innovation. However, some scholars argue that performance expectation gap reduces the willingness of enterprises to engage in digital innovation and makes them cut their digital innovation investment, which is not conducive to digital innovation.#br#The inconsistency of the research results suggests that the mechanism of interaction between the two is still unclear and needs to be further explored. To this end, this paper hypothesizes that there is a nonlinear relationship between performance expectation gap and corporate digital innovation by integrating the corporate behavior theory and the “threat-rigidity” theory. Then it attempts to find the boundary conditions between performance expectation gap and digital innovation. Resource-based theory suggests that innovation decisions are not only related to a firm's own business situation, but also vary according to the organization's resources and capabilities. This makes the firm's resources and capabilities important boundary conditions for the performance expectation gap to affect digital innovation. Therefore, this study proposes that whether a firm with the performance expectation gap engages in digital innovation needs to fully consider both the influence of redundant resources and government subsidies, and the role of CEO power which is a corporate governance capability. Hence, this paper focuses on the following two questions: Is there a nonlinear relationship between performance expectation gap and digital innovation? How do corporate resources (redundant resources and government subsidies) and corporate governance capability (CEO power) further influence this inverted U-shaped relationship?#br#In view of this, the study analyzes the impact of performance expectation gap on digital innovation and examines the moderating effect of corporate resources (redundant resources and government subsidies) and governance capacity (CEO power) on the above relationship based on the corporate behavior theory and “threat-rigidity” theory, using the data of Chinese listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares from 2015-2021. The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between performance expectation gap and digital innovation, and this conclusion still holds after endogeneity and robustness tests. Both CEO power and redundant resources weaken the inverted U-shape relationship between performance expectations gap and digital innovation, while government subsidies enhance the inverted U-shape relationship. Further analysis finds that the effect of performance expectation gap on digital innovation is more pronounced in SOEs. The findings enrich the current theoretical explanation of the relationship between performance expectation gap and corporate digital innovation, and provide theoretical guidance and empirical evidence for implementing corporate digital innovation in a performance expectation gap state.#br#Compared with the existing literature, this paper complements and explores the mechanism of the relationship between performance expectation gap and corporate digital innovation, and it provides a research idea to solve the paradoxical relationship between them. Furthermore, the boundary conditions of the relationship between performance expectation gap and digital innovation are explored and enriched. Following the resource-based theory, this study explores the influence of corporate resources (redundant resources and government subsidies) and governance capabilities (CEO power) on the relationship between the two, reveals the boundary conditions of performance expectation gap acting on corporate digital innovation, and expands the application of redundant resources, government subsidies, and CEO power in the field of performance expectation gap and corporate digital innovation.#br#

45 Context-driven Concept, Business Model and the Evolution of Technological Innovation Ecosystem:An Analysis Based on the Logical Starting Point of Tesla's Enterprise Value
Li Ming,Wang Wei
The development of new technology and the industrial revolution have brought the continuous emergence of new phenomena. In the automotive industry, Tesla has been ranking first in the world in terms of corporate value since turning losses into profits in 2020. However, in terms of product sales and financial performance, it is far below traditional automakers. The huge contrast between high value and low performance seems to confirm a fundamental change in the key elements of enterprise value creation, and the relationship between enterprise behavior and value ecology rooted in contexts is overturning the traditional logic of value creation. Especially in the background of the digital revolution, data elements have generated a large number of new contexts, and context-driven value creation that targets digital contexts and meets new user needs is important. Tesla has launched a reform that comprehensively introduces new concepts of technological information and Internet thinking into the automotive industry. Therefore, the huge contrast between its value and performance may be due to the contradiction between the positive incentives given by consumers to new species' business models and technological ecological innovation in the new context and the temporary occupation of large market shares by old species in the stage of replacement. In order to analyze the above contrast and explore the mechanisms and paths, it is necessary to study how manufacturers of new species can reconstruct business models and innovate ecosystems to break the mold of traditional manufacturing systems, and create and meet new user needs in practice. However, existing research mostly focuses on the integration of retail industry research contexts and commercial elements to create new value systems, which lacks attention in explaining how manufacturing enterprises collaborate and build diverse application contexts to promote the construction of innovative ecosystems in the production end and empower value creation.#br#This paper adopts a case study method, and uses financial statements and capital market data to explore the phenomenon of Tesla's value and financial situation;then it takes this as the logical starting point of the research, further obtains investors' bullish or bearish information about Tesla's stock through semi-structured interviews and seeks product market information to explore potential reasons. According to the structured data analysis method, this paper analyzes what contexts Tesla is based on and how they affect the business model and innovation ecosystem, thus affecting the path and mechanism of its enterprise value. Finally, three aggregation constructs are proposed, and a context-driven enterprise value mechanism model is built thereafter.#br#The results show that the logic of Tesla's enterprise value creation is driven by multiple contexts such as policy guidance, innovation empowerment, industrial transformation, and demand driving forces. Tesla utilizes the concept of Internet value creation to deconstruct the context needs of value entities, and creates a closed loop of business model innovation. Internally, it builds an open modular innovation ecosystem to open up new product tracks, and continuously evolve and transform with context-driven development. Both of them interact to achieve high value for the enterprise. Thus, this paper proposes a context-driven mechanism model for enterprise value creation. In the mechanism model, the context-driven system includes policy guidance, industrial transformation, innovation empowerment, and demand driving force, while context-driven innovation can contribute to the high value growth of enterprises;the dynamic changes driven by multiple hierarchical system contexts constitute the complexity deduction of the contexts, driving the continuous evolution of the enterprise innovation ecosystem;the business model of enterprises can achieve value innovation based on context deconstruction and business model activity system restructuring.#br#This paper studies the influencing factors of enterprise value from a context-driven perspective, which enriches related theories and advances context-driven research in depth. It provides practical implications for the innovation practices of Chinese manufacturing enterprises in the digital economy. China's emerging manufacturing needs to fully utilize context-driven power and empower the deep integration of the Internet and industrial technology in the digital economy, thereby achieving business model innovation and the evolution of the innovation ecosystem and contributing to enterprise value creation.#br#

56 The Continuous Innovation Mechanism of Platform Ecosystem Based on the Interaction between Internal Governance and Dynamic Capabilities:A Longitudinal Case Study
Zhu Xiaohong,Sun Chun
The rise of digitization has spurred competition from firm-level to ecosystem-level, and the competition mainly occurs within and across ecosystems. Platform-based firms have to develop continuous innovation to maintain long-term competitive advantages in a rapidly changing environment. The existing research shows that organizational learning, knowledge flow and economic benefit acquisition are essential factors in the formation of continuous innovation;internal governance can ensure the efficiency of organizational learning, the goal of knowledge flow, and the sustainability of economic benefit acquisition to ensure the effective formation of continuous innovation. While dynamic capabilities are the basis of continuous innovation, they can reduce organizational learning costs, speed up knowledge flow and maximize economic benefits through the integration and reconstruction of resources and further promote the formation process of continuous innovation. Although valuable research results have been formed, the existing research has failed to solve the problems of behavioral traps and capacity rigidity, and ignored to systematically demonstrate the formation process of continuous innovation. The interactive integration of internal governance and dynamic capabilities can show the formation mechanism of continuous innovation in the platform ecosystem in a panoramic way, which can compensate for the insufficiency of analyzing the formation mechanism from the single perspective, and explain the reality from a systematic and process perspective. Therefore, this paper aims to answer (1) how to form the continuous innovation of a platform ecosystem, and (2) how internal governance and dynamic capabilities interact and promote the continuous innovation of the platform ecosystem.#br#A longitudinal exploratory single case study is made based on the principle of theoretical sampling. With Shandong Biobase Group as an example, the case data is divided into initial exploration stage, rapid development stage and renewal breakthrough stage. The differences of interaction between internal governance and dynamic capabilities in different stages are analyzed to explore the formation mechanism of continuous innovation of platform ecosystem. Through normative case data analysis, it is found that the transformation of platform ecological competition promotes the alternation of internal governance and dynamic capabilities. At different stages in the construction process of the platform ecosystem, it is faced with the entry competition of the platform ecosystem, competition within the platform ecosystem, and competition across the multi-platform ecosystems. In different competitive situations, internal governance will adjust the dominant direction of dynamic capabilities and guide the construction of dynamic capabilities, and dynamic capabilities will provide support for internal governance through resource integration and reconstruction. It is further suggested that the interaction between internal governance and dynamic capabilities promotes the formation process of platform ecosystem's continuous innovation. The interaction between internal governance and dynamic capabilities changes the organizational learning style, the direction of knowledge flow and the acquisition of economic benefits, thus promoting the formation of continuous innovation of platform ecosystem. Besides, it is proposed that the formation mechanism of platform ecosystem's continuous innovation is the process of continuous technological innovation, continuous model innovation, and continuous organizational innovation. The interaction results of the previous stage are the basis for the interaction of internal governance and dynamic capabilities to promote the formation of continuous innovation in the next stage. #br#This paper makes three theoretical contributions. Firstly, it extends the applicable boundary of continuous innovation from firm-level to ecosystem-level, and explores the influence of continuous innovation on the sustainable development of platform ecosystem from the perspective of platform leaders. Secondly, by integrating internal governance and dynamic capabilities into the same theoretical analysis framework, it responds to the call of existing research for risk prevention of continuous innovation, enriches and extends the panoramic analysis of internal governance of platform ecosystem. Thirdly, the dynamic evolution mechanism of continuous innovation of platform ecosystem is revealed in a panoramic way based on the research framework of "situation-behavior-result".#br#With respect to the operation and development of the platform ecosystem, this study suggests that the platform ecosystem needs to carry out targeted continuous innovation according to the competitive situation;moreover, attention needs to be paid to the adaptability of internal governance and dynamic capacities, as well as the selection of internal governance behavior and the building of dynamic capacities in the formation of continuous innovation of the platform ecosystem.#br#

67 The Cooperation Mode of Key Generic Technology Innovation Based on Patent Information: An Example from the Biotechnology Industry
Li Yang,Tang Yujie
Key generic technology has played an important role in the national economic development and breaking the bottleneck of industrial upgrading. As the quasi-public goods, key generic technology has certain risks, such as complexity and unpredictability in research, a long development cycle and negative externality, which lead to inefficiencies and organizational failures in companies. That means it is difficult for a single company or organization to complete the key generic technology innovation independently. In such a context, the R&D cooperation mode which consists of companies, universities, and research institutions, is a useful way to crack the “bottleneck problem” of key generic technology. It is generally accepted that interfirm cooperation and university-institution-research (UIR) are the two major types of R&D cooperation mode, and that cooperation size and technology diversity are the two major characteristics of the key generic technology innovation process. However, existing studies have failed to combine the cooperation types with the cooperation characteristics, and have yet to answer the question of the difference in the impact of the two types of cooperation on key generic technology innovation, and the impact of the cooperation size and technology diversity in different cooperation types. As there is a lack of discussion on the influence mechanisms of interfirm cooperation and UIR on key generic technology innovation, this paper proposes a novel configuration selection model for key generic technology innovation and helps the policy-maker choose the right R&D cooperation mode, avoiding problems like low innovation efficiency and so on.
This paper takes the biotechnology industry as an example, and the reason is that the biotechnology industry is patent-intensive and the patent data can reflect the key generic technology innovation of the biotechnology industry. In addition, due to the technical foundation and interdisciplinary characteristics of biotechnology, R&D cooperation to apply for a patent is generally common in the biotechnology industry. According to the IPC code for identifying biotechnology patents revised by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2016, this paper uses a Patyee database to search for patents that were applied by Chinese companies in the biotechnology industry from 1985 to 2021. Then this paper further screens the patent data from 1987 to 2019 by using a 5-year rolling time window. Finally, this paper obtains 108 878 patent data, which includes 12 269 patent data by R&D cooperation (4 099 patents by interfirm cooperation and 8 170 by UIR). It verifies the hypotheses by defining variables and constructing the multiple linear regression model. To further testify the regression results, this paper performs robustness tests based on a 3-year rolling time window by replacing the dependent variable.
The results show that firstly technology cooperation has a positive impact on key generic technology innovation, and UIR has a greater impact. Secondly the cooperation size has no significant positive effect on the key generic technology innovation, but technology diversity has a significant inverted U-shaped effect on the key generic technology innovation. Thirdly the cooperation type moderates the relationship between cooperation size and key generic technology innovation, and weakens the negative effect of technology diversity on key generic technology innovation.
This paper has the following implications for companies and governments on how to construct an R&D cooperation mode for key generic technology. (1) Compared with interfirm R&D cooperation, UIR plays a more positive role in promoting key generic technology innovation. (2) Interfirm R&D cooperation with multiple companies (large, medium, and small companies) on the industrial chain has a positive impact on key generic technology innovation, while UIR with a limited number of organizations plays a greater influence on key generic technology innovation. (3) To meet the needs of industrial upgrading, governments should encourage companies to concentrate their technological advantage, avoiding spanning too many technology fields. But when there is the need to span multiple different technology fields to break through key generic technology, companies should strengthen cooperative relationships with universities and research institutions, alleviating the problems of high communication and management costs.

78 The Efficiency Measurement and Evolution Characteristics of China's Regional Innovation System
Peng Xushu,Zhang Zhoucai
In order to achieve the goal of becoming a leading innovative country by 2035, it is imperative to improve the national innovation system and enhance its overall effectiveness. The regional innovation system is a subsystem of the national innovation system. The evolution of the regional innovation system and its path and mechanism to promote regional economic growth have different internal logics from the national innovation system. China is a vast country with great differences in various regions. To improve the effectiveness of the national innovation system, it is essential to focus on regions, strengthen the construction of regional innovation system, and improve the overall effectiveness of the regional innovation system. The existing evaluation of regional innovation efficiency and regional innovation capability cannot fully reflect the overall picture of the construction progress of regional innovation system, and cannot reveal the space-time evolution characteristics of the effectiveness of regional innovation system. This study aims to grasp the current situation and development trend of China's regional innovation imbalance, in the hope of providing important reference for improving the regional innovation system and enhancing its effectiveness.#br#The study compares the connotations of innovation efficiency, innovation capability and innovation system efficiency. According to system theory, the efficiency of regional innovation system refers to the overall effect of the construction of regional innovation system in many aspects, such as the improvement of structure and function. Then it constructs an index system to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of regional innovation system with five dimensions of innovation environment, innovation ability, innovation ecology, innovation output and innovation performance. The study further measures the innovation system efficiency indexes of 30 provincial administrative regions from 2012 to 2020. The results are helpful for the horizontal and vertical comparison of any provincial administrative region's innovation system efficiency index.#br#The index shows that since 2012,the efficiency of the innovation system in provincial administrative regions has been improved to varying degrees with an overall upward trend, but the efficiency of different provincial innovation systems and the growth rates vary greatly. Using the natural breakpoint method, this study divides 30 provinces into 4 echelons. Beijing and Guangdong are in the first echelon, and their innovation system efficiency index is far higher than that of other regions;Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Shandong are in the second echelon. Its efficiency index of regional innovation system is high and the growth rate is fast. There are 12 provincial regions in the third echelon including Hubei, Shaanxi, Henan, Tianjin, Sichuan, Liaoning, Anhui, Chongqing, Fujian, Hunan, Hebei and Jilin, while 12 provincial regions including Jiangxi and Heilongjiang are in the fourth echelon. The spatial distribution of regional innovation system effectiveness is characterized by large gaps.#br#It is found that the effectiveness stratification of regional innovation system is basically solidified, but the provincial spatial distribution of innovation system effectiveness indicates the important characteristics and development trend of intensified innovation differentiation and enhanced innovation polarization. From the perspective of the four geographical regions, the innovation system in the eastern region is highly effective and rapidly improved.Since the 13th Five Year Plan period, the efficiency of the innovation system in the central region has been improved relatively fast, and has surpassed that in the northeast and western regions. The efficiency of the innovation system in the northeast and western regions is relatively low, and has been improved slowly. The spatial distribution of the efficiency of the regional innovation system has basically formed a spatial pattern with the east region leading the innovation and a rising force in the central region. The gaps between these two regions and the northeast and western regions have been widening.#br#Thus,it is proposed to accelerate the construction of innovation highlands such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, shore up weak links in the construction of the regional innovation system, and promote the coordinated development of the regional innovation system. While all localities should give play to their comparative advantages in line with local conditions and take a distinctive regional innovative development path.#br#

88 Regional Industrial Transfer and Undertaking Capacity Evaluation:An Example of the Three Gorges Ecological and Economic Corridor of Yangtze River
Fu Chenyu,Qin Zunwen
To implement the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, it is essential to balance overall progress and breakthroughs in key areas. As the junction between the central region and the western region, the Three Gorges ecological and economic corridor of Yangtze River is not only an important support for the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, but also a comprehensive experimental corridor for the implementation of the new development concept and the coordinated promotion of ecological priority and green development. It plays an important role in the overall strategic development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. However, the region is geographically unique. It is located not only in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River Basin, but also between the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration. Hence it is in the national key ecological function area, the ecological barrier area of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the fragile ecological environment area, and also in the national minority gathering area and the concentrated contiguous poverty-stricken areas. There are great differences in economic development level, ecological resource environment and industrial development foundation among different regions in the Three Gorges ecological and economic corridor of Yangtze River. Under the trend of gradient transfer of industries in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,it has become an important way to achieve high-quality development, green development and coordinated development by actively carrying out industrial transfer and undertaking in the Three Gorges ecological and economy corridor of Yangtze River. However, there is little literature on industrial transfer and undertaking in this region, and there is few relevant research on the combination of industrial transfer and industrial undertaking. Therefore, by studying the industrial transfer situation and undertaking capacity of the Three Gorges ecological and economic corridor of Yangtze River, this paper identifies the advantageous industries in the corridor and the key areas suitable for industrial undertaking, and puts forward policy suggestions for further optimizing the industrial spatial layout and promoting the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.#br#By calculating the industrial development gradient coefficients of 39 industries in Chongqing, Yichang and Enshi in 2019, this study analyzes the trend of inter-regional industrial gradient transfer, so as to verify the advantageous industries suitable for transfer and the related industries can be undertaken in each region of the corridor. Then, by calculating the industrial undertaking capacity of 42 districts and counties in the Three Gorges ecological and economic corridor of Yangtze River from 2010 to 2020, this study analyzes the restriction factors affecting the industrial transfer and undertaking capacity, and selects the key areas suitable for industrial undertaking in each region of the corridor.#br#The results show that the industrial development of the Three Gorges ecological and economic corridor has the spatial characteristics of "high on the sides and low in the middle ", the inter-regional industrial transfer generally presents a development trend of being "from the outside to the inside". The overall capacity of industrial transfer and undertaking, as well as its industrial attraction capacity, industrial support capacity and industrial development capacity in each region present a dynamic trend of rising development, but the overall development level is low, the spatial development is unbalanced, and the regional development level is greatly different.#br#This paper combines industrial transfer with industrial undertaking, and incorporates resource and environmental factors into the evaluation index system of regional industrial transfer capacity, and makes a deep analysis of the industrial selection and industrial layout of the Three Gorges ecological and economic corridor of Yangtze River. It is of great significance for optimizing the industrial spatial layout in key areas of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and realizing the coordinated development of regional economic.#br#

99 Multiple Institutional Logic, Firm Heterogeneity and Enterprise Innovation Performance : A Fuzzy Qualitative Comparative Analysis Based on 125 Listed New Energy Vehicle Firms〗
Zheng Ailin,Lan Hailin
The new energy vehicle industry has the potential to address concerns related to energy scarcity and environmental pollution. However, there are technological bottlenecks, such as insufficient battery life and long charging time, hindering its development. Enhancing innovation performance in new energy vehicle enterprises has become a key concern for various stakeholders. While existing research has examined the impact of factors at different levels, there is a need to further explore the combined effects of multiple factors.
The study aims to enhance the understanding of the intricate causal relationships among multiple factors that influence technological innovation performance in Chinese new energy vehicle enterprises. The study analyzes a sample of 125 companies listed in the A-share new energy vehicle sector from 2012 to 2019 according to the completeness and availability of data. It divides the technological innovation performance of new energy vehicle enterprises into two stages: the emerging stage (2012-2015) and the mature stage (2016-2019) based on the overall development level of new energy vehicles in China, with 2016 as the dividing line. The study organizes the data into a total of 500 observation points for 125 cases within each stage and averages the data in the two stages. Drawing on a framework that considers multiple institutional logics, enterprise heterogeneity, and innovation performance, the study analyzes the complex mechanisms that underlie these factors and explains the differences in technological innovation performance of new energy vehicle enterprises from a configuration perspective. The configuration perspective highlights the interplay of multiple factors in determining outcomes, considering causal asymmetry and configuration equivalence. This approach sheds light on the coupling effect among multiple factors and reveals the intricate causal relationships between antecedent conditions and outcome variables. In addition, the fsQCA method helps to overcome the limitations of causal symmetry and focus on the cross-case multiple concurrent causality and the equivalent substitution relationship among conditions. The fsQCA method is used to capture the comprehensive effects of multiple conditional variables rather than the net effect of a single variable. It helps to explore the idea that different paths lead to the same result and effectively avoids the problem of multicollinearity.
It is found that government subsidies, marketization level, cooperation intensity, corporate profits, equity structure, and R&D investment alone can not consist of necessary conditions for generating high technological innovation performance, while increasing government subsidies and R&D investment play a more general role in improving technological innovation performance, and the subsidy reduction policy has not achieved the desired effect. The study identifies five paths that can lead to high technological innovation performance of new energy vehicle enterprises. In the emerging stage (2012-2015), it includes innovation based on the trend driven by market logic and political logic, and innovation based on the situation driven by enterprise logic and political logic;in the mature stage (2016-2019), it includes the innovation based on the situation driven by political logic, the innovation based on the trend driven by enterprises' logic and political logic, the innovation based on the situation driven by political logic. These different paths represent multiple ways for enterprises to achieve high technological innovation performance, depending on their unique circumstances and strategies. Then it identifies four paths that can lead to non-high technological innovation performance in the two stages, indicating that the generation of non-high technological innovation performance also has multiple equivalent antecedent combinations. Non-high R&D investment is a necessary condition for non-high technological innovation performance, and the path for generating high technological innovation performance is asymmetric.
The findings reveal several viable paths for new energy vehicle enterprises to achieve high technological innovation performance, thereby contributing to the current research on this topic. The use of time series data in QCA analysis expands the research scope of this method and enhances its explanatory power in the context of technological innovation performance of new energy vehicle enterprises, which is constantly evolving. The findings offer valuable insights for both the government and enterprises to accelerate the development of new energy vehicle technology breakthroughs.

108 The Antecedent Configuration of Technology Convergence of New Energy Vehicle Enterprises in an Uncertain Environment
Chen Zifeng,Wang Yue,Jia Weifeng,Cheng Long
Environmental uncertainty is a double-edged sword with both challenges and opportunities for enterprises. In this setting, it is of great importance to expand their organizational boundaries by technology convergence in order to maintain and improve their competitiveness. As a national strategic emerging industry and pillar industry, the new energy automobile industry has been experiencing rapid development recently. While new star-ups and cross-border incumbent enterprises are flocking to this industry, intense competitive pressures and market uncertainty follow. Meanwhile, the continuous strengthening of R&D investment and the introduction of cross-border technology have raised the overall technical level of the industry year by year with increasing uncertainties. In the uncertain environment, enterprises work with known causal relationships, but it is difficult for them to adjust enterprise strategies timely and effectively without additional information. In response to environmental uncertainty, enterprises need to coordinate the resources and conditions from every aspect, expand the technological boundaries through technological convergence, improve their initiative, flexibility and adaptability,so as to cope with the challenges and seize the opportunities , and then maintain the enterprise competitiveness.
This study aims to discuss the influence factors and improvement paths of technology convergence in uncertain environment based on the TOE framework, configuration theory and the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method, with the sample of 21 Chinese new energy vehicle listed companies. The initial data is sourced from the Dewant Patent Database and the Enterprise Annual Report. The results show four different paths for high technology convergence, i.e., an environmental fluctuation-technology driven path, an environmental fluctuation-resource supported path, an environmental balance-organization supported-government driven path and a technological turbulence-organization supported-government driven path. Technology breadth and organizational redundancy present an alternative relationship when both technology and market uncertainty are high, while organizational redundancy and government subsidies show a complementary relationship when both technology and market uncertainty are weak. The technology uncertainty in linkage matching is the core condition of various configurations of ultra-high technology convergence. There are three paths to realize non-high technology convergence, with an asymmetric relationship with that of high technology convergence. According to the results of configuration analysis, when the level of market and technology uncertainty is high, richer technical elements and broader ranges of knowledge for acquisition, absorption and utilization can be achieved based on the wider technology breadth so as to realize enterprise technology convergence. Synchronously, the higher organizational redundancy provides enterprises with various resources to deal with the uncertainties, and helps enterprises establish more extensive ranges of external cooperation relationships to broaden their own technology scope. In this situation, it shows substitution effects between wider technology breadth and higher organizational redundancy. While as long as the market is relatively stable, with or without technological uncertainty, organizational redundancy and government subsidies need to play their complementary effects in order to achieve a higher level of technology convergence.
Most of the existing studies use statistical regression methods, ignoring the linkage matching effect between different dimensions of factors, and thus it is difficult to systematically explain the mechanism of multi-factor synergies. This paper is dedicated to answering how enterprise technology convergence occurs and how to stimulate its occurrence under the uncertain environment. Compared with the existing relevant research, it brings environmental uncertainty into the research framework, breaks through the existing perspective of single factor net effect research for technology convergence. The research conclusions advance the theoretical understanding of the complex interaction between the multiple influencing factors of technology convergence under the uncertain environment, reveal the supporting forces and driving factors of enterprise technology convergence, and provide practical enlightenment for improving the level of enterprise technology convergence. The study is subjective to a few limitations in sample size and research methods. Future research could focus on more industries, conduct a more detailed and comprehensive study of the antecedent configuration of technology integration based on the actual impact of other internal and external factors on technology integration within the enterprise, and add the time factor in panel data to explore the stability and dynamics of the antecedent configuration of technology convergence.

118 A Study of Reverse Knowledge Transfer in MNCs Based on Meta-Analysis Techniques:Antecedents, Outcomes and Boundary Conditions
Zheng Suli,Zhu Junlin,Chang Xiaoran
In the era of knowledge economy, knowledge is used to be regarded as a prerequisite for innovation, and innovation is an important driver for MNCs to improve their R&D capabilities and international competitiveness. Reverse knowledge transfer provides parent companies with greater access to and use of knowledge and resources from the host country, thus contributing to the improvement of innovation capabilities and performance of MNCs. At present, academics have accumulated a large number of research results on the antecedents and consequences of reverse knowledge transfer. However, the existing studies have different perspectives and conflicting conclusions, which pose great challenges to the improvement of the theory and practical application of reverse knowledge transfer. It is necessary to integrate the mechanisms and effects of the antecedents and consequences of reverse knowledge transfer and constructs a holistic research framework, and explore the contextual factors affecting these relationships. The meta-analysis method provides solid technical support for the research purpose.#br#Firstly, this study puts forward the research framework on the antecedents, outcomes and boundary conditions of reverse knowledge transfer based on a literature review and presents hypotheses on the relationships between variables. Secondly, it comprehensively searches, selects and codes the literature, and finally gets 62 empirical studies between 1998 and 2020. Then, it codes the variables and the effect-value statistics separately. Based on this, this paper tests the publication bias with funnel plots and Egger analysis and heterogeneity test with Q-test and I-squared statistic. Finally, adopting meta-analysis and subgroup analysis, this study explores the effects of autonomy, entry mode and age of the subsidiary, absorptive capacity of the parent company, relevance, complexity and tacitness of knowledge, cultural distance, geographical di stance, interaction mechanism between the parent and subsidiary on reverse knowledge transfer, the effect of reverse knowledge transfer on innovation performance and the moderating effect of economic development level of the home country. #br#This study finds that the following variables have a positive effect on reverse knowledge transfer: autonomy and age of the subsidiary, absorptive capacity of the parent company, relevance, complexity and tacitness of knowledge, and interaction mechanism between the parent and subsidiary;cultural distance between the parent and subsidiary has a negative effect;there is no significant relationship between entry mode, geographical distance and reverse knowledge transfer;reverse knowledge transfer has a significant contribution to the innovation performance of the parent company;there are significant differences in the reverse knowledge transfer process between emerging and developed economy MNCs.This paper presents a holistic research framework which is helpful to promote the systematic understanding of reverse knowledge transfer. The meta-analysis can effectively overcome sample differences and the interference of random factors, and the conclusions obtained have better explanatory power and generalisability, bridging the divergence between existing research conclusions.By the end, with a large number of empirical studies, this paper reveals the key role of home country economic development level on reverse knowledge transfer, which deepens the understanding of the differentiation of MNCs' reverse knowledge transfer. #br#The study is of great significance to the reverse knowledge transfer in MNCs, especially for emerging economies MNCs. Firstly, managers must have systematic thinking to efficiently manage reverse knowledge transfer, and coordinate different links and factors, especially pay more attention to the effective interaction mechanisms between parent and subsidiary companies. Secondly, for the emerging economies of MNCs, managers should emphasize the positive effect of M&A and tacit knowledge, and effectively resolve and control the obstacles caused by cultural distance. Moreover, in the background of anti-globalization and the spread of COVID-19, the reverse knowledge transfer is bound to face greater restrictions and challenges, especially in the fields of basic components and high-end manufacturing. Therefore, the internationalization strategy in the next stage must focus on innovation capability and knowledge absorption and application.#br#

129 The Influencing Paths of Continuous Knowledge Contribution in Social Q&A Community from a Configuration Perspective Based on a Socio-ecological Model
Wang Liya,Wang Shuxiang
With the development of the Internet and the widespread use of Web 2.0, social Q&A communities have become important sources for users to acquire and share knowledge. The key to the success of social Q&A communities lies in the fact that they can motivate and sustain users' continuous knowledge contributions. However, most social Q&A communities still face the problem of users' low activity and low willingness to continue contributing knowledge, which makes the sustainable development of online communities difficult. As a result, it becomes a challenge for social Q&A communities to increase user stickiness and motivate users to continue participating in knowledge contribution.#br#This paper constructs a framework based on the socioecological model (SEM) for analyzing the influence factors of users' continuous knowledge contribution behavior. It uses a Python program to longitudinally track 2 419 users in the Zhihu community to obtain one-year data on users' continuous participation behavior from June 15, 2020 to June 15, 2021, and adopts the fsQCA model to analyze the interaction effects between the influencing factors of continuous knowledge contribution behavior, changing from a single-dimensional perspective to a multi-dimensional interactive overall perspective.#br#Research results show that users' continuous knowledge contribution behavior in social Q&A communities is the result of the interaction effect of multiple combination factors, and there is no single core condition that can directly influence users' continuous knowledge contribution behavior. There are three configurations to achieve a high quantity of users' continuous knowledge contribution: achievement-motivation-driven, interpersonal relationship-driven, and full-dimensional-driven. And there are two configuration ways to achieve a high quality of users' continuous knowledge contribution, namely, image-incentive-driven and participation-motivation-driven. Thus, achievement motivation, responsibility and identity in the individual motivation level are important core factors to trigger individuals enthusiasm for continuous knowledge contributions, while community image motivation and peer influence in the community environment exist as important supporting factors, and interpersonal factors exist more as potential causes of different configuration paths of the quantity and quality of users' continuous knowledge contributions.#br#The theoretical contributions of this study are presented below. Firstly, it constructs an integrative model to examine the joint influence of individual factors, interpersonal factors and community environment factors on users' continuous knowledge contribution behavior from an integrative perspective;then, it explores multiple motives that influence the continuous knowledge contribution behavior of social Q&A communities and reveals the influence mechanism of the factor groups of users' continuous knowledge contribution behavior. Secondly, with a focus on the influencing factors of continuous knowledge contribution behavior, it explains the persistence of users' knowledge contribution behavior and obtains users' extent data by continuously tracking users. Thirdly, the existing studies neglect the importance of the quality of knowledge contributions, for only effective and responsive knowledge contributions account for knowledge contributions. This paper not only expands the dimensional division of continuous knowledge contribution behavior by dividing it into continuous knowledge contribution quantity and continuous knowledge contribution quality, but also provides different path options to promote the users' continuous knowledge contribution in different dimensions, which provides a more comprehensive understanding of knowledge contribution behavior in online communities and promotes further development research on user knowledge contribution behavior.〖HJ*3〗#br#In order to encourage users to engage in continuous knowledge contribution in the community, community managers should pay attention to the interaction between community members and improve the social design of online community platforms to increase the frequency of interaction among users so that they can build trust with each other through in-depth communication. Furthermore, the community should establish a diverse incentive system to encourage users to share their ideas and creativity. Community managers can use a combination of material and spiritual incentives to encourage users to actively participate in community activities, thereby increasing their enthusiasm for continuous knowledge contributions. In addition, communities should place a high priority on the quality of users' knowledge contributions. Through the evaluation mechanism, the community can objectively evaluate user-generated content based on the number of approvals, likes and shares achieved by each user's post and then rank user-generated content according to certain evaluation weights to recommend high-quality contents to the corresponding users, and further build an effective push for high-quality content.#br#

139 Thinking Alone or Seeking Help to Forge Ahead? The Influence Mechanism of Employees′ Work-Related Rumination on Their Feedback Seeking Strategies
Li Yanping,Li Haoxuan
The employees′ work intensity and pressure are increasing in the present business environment. Employees are often troubled outside working hours, especially with the popularity of information and communication technology, the boundary between work and private life is blurring. Work-related rumination will further prevent employees from physical and mental relaxation. The research on the phenomenon of work-related rumination and its influencing effect based on the Chinese situation has very important research value, and the problem of employee work-related rumination deserves the attention of the theoretical and practical fields. Most studies on rumination thinking are commonly seen in patients with depression (trait rumination) in the field of psychology and health and well-being, but there are few studies on employees' work- related rumination in the workplace. Notably due to the differences of thinking content, there are significant positive and negative effects in the follow-up effects of different dimensions of work-related rumination;however, there are few studies on the follow-up effects from the different dimensions of work-related rumination-affective rumination and problem-solving pondering.#br#Relying on the communication and uncertainty management theory and the expansion theory of positive emotion, this study takes problem-solving pondering and affective rumination as independent variables and workplace friendship and workplace loneliness as moderating variables, and explores if there is an impact between work-related rumination and dependent variable feedback seeking behavior. It further analyzes the internal mechanism of the impact path. Through the questionnaire survey data of 379 employees in enterprises and institutions, this study verifies the influence mechanism of work-related rumination on feedback seeking behavior, and the results are presented as follows : (1) affective rumination positively affects the behavior of monitoring and inquiry feedback seeking;(2) problem solving pondering has a positive impact on monitoring and inquiry feedback seeking behavior;(3) workplace friendship positively moderates the positive influence of affective rumination on monitoring and inquiry feedback seeking behavior;(4) workplace loneliness negatively moderates the positive influence of affective rumination and monitoring and inquiry feedback seeking behavior;(5) workplace friendship negatively moderates problem solving pondering, which has a positive impact on monitoring feedback seeking behavior, but has no moderation effect on inquiry feedback seeking behavior;(6) workplace loneliness positively moderates the positive influence of problem solving pondering on monitoring and inquiry feedback seeking behavior.#br#Finally, this paper discusses the theoretical values and implications for management practice of the study. In the theoretical sense, firstly, the study enriches the theoretical research of work-related rumination, and explores the two different dimensions of work-related rumination, problem-solving pondering and affective rumination, enriching the research perspective. Secondly, it expands the discussion on the antecedent variables of feedback seeking behavior. There are few studies on the two different dimensions of feedback seeking behavior: monitoring feedback seeking behavior and inquiry feedback seeking behavior, enriching the understanding of the antecedents of feedback seeking behavior. Thirdly, it reveals that the role of work-related rumination has positive effects on feedback seeking behavior. On the basis of the uncertainty and communication management theory and the expansion theory of positive emotions, this paper introduces workplace friendship and workplace loneliness as regulatory variables, explores the internal influence mechanism of work-related rumination and feedback seeking behavior, and widens the research boundary.#br#In a practical sense, through the research on the factors of work-related rumination and the influence mechanism of feedback seeking behavior, this paper puts forward some management suggestions from the levels of employees, managers and organizations. Specifically, employees can gradually form the thinking habit of replacing affective rumination with problem-solving pondering, strengthen their resilience and self-competence when they face the work pressure, and positively use feedback sources to seek information;managers can conduct cognitive evaluation and pre-judgment analysis on employees' work-related rumination behavior, and formulate corresponding solutions;organizations should encourage the existence of workplace friendship and mutual aid thinking to enhance employees' feedback seeking behavior with work-related rumination.#br#

150 Influence of Trait Mindfulness on Active Innovation Behavior of Manufacturing Employees: The Mediating Effects of Professional Identity and Thrive at Work
Zhu Yongyue,Ma Miaohui
At present, China's traditional manufacturing industry is being transformed into an innovation-driven manufacturing industry. As the innovation subject of enterprises, manufacturing employees have an important impact on enterprise innovation by fully stimulating their innovation behavior. Compared with the traditional reactive innovation behavior, active innovation behavior is a kind of innovation behavior from the perspective of individual internal motivation, and it emphasizes employees' initiative and spontaneity, and can have a far-reaching impact on organizational performance. Therefore, the active innovation behavior of manufacturing employees can bring high-quality innovation performance and contribute to the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.#br#There have been studies on the antecedents of active innovation behavior, mainly focusing on external environmental factors such as leadership style, organizational climate and management practice, while empirical research from the perspective of individual characteristics of employees is relatively scarce, and needs to be further strengthened. As a kind of individual trait, trait mindfulness can promote individuals to focus on themselves, so as to better stimulate employees' internal motivation and initiative behavior. At present, research on the mechanism of employees' trait mindfulness on active innovation behavior is very rare. To address these issues, this study takes manufacturing employees as the research object. Drawing on self-determination theory, social identity theory and the socially embedded model of thriving at work, it constructs a chain mediating model of trait mindfulness acting on manufacturing employees' active innovation behavior through professional identity and thrive at work, and introduces the organizational factor of caring ethical climate as a moderating variable according to the social context theory, so as to explore the mechanism and boundary effect of trait mindfulness on the active innovation behavior of manufacturing employees, and thus it has certain theoretical value and practical significance.#br#This study collects data by electronic questionnaires distributed in 30 provinces including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, etc., and the subjects are mainly employees in manufacturing industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing. After screening and eliminating invalid data, 536 valid samples are obtained. Regression analysis and hypothesis test are carried out by SPSS, Amos and other data analysis softwares. The main effect and mediating effect test, chain mediating test and moderating effect test are carried out. The results of empirical analysis show that all the hypotheses proposed in this study have been confirmed, and the following conclusions are obtained: trait mindfulness has a positive impact on active innovation behavior;professional identity and thrive at work play a part of mediating role between trait mindfulness and active innovation behavior, and play a chain mediating role together;caring ethical climate plays a positive role in the relationship between trait mindfulness, professional identity and thrive at work, and the moderating role of caring ethical climate on the influence of trait mindfulness on thrive at work is more significant.#br#The above research results enrich and deepen the research in related fields, and have certain theoretical innovation and practical significance. Firstly, from the perspective of individual internal dynamics, this study innovatively selects the antecedents of employees' active innovation behavior from the perspectives of cognition, emotion and behavior. It enriches the theoretical research on the antecedents of active innovation behavior. Secondly, it constructs a chain mediating transmission mechanism with double intermediaries, which deeply reveals the internal mechanism of trait mindfulness triggering employees' active innovation behavior, and makes up for the lack of existing literature on the relationship between trait mindfulness and employees' active innovation behavior. Thirdly, this study introduces the caring ethical climate at the organizational level as a moderating variable, and clarifies the boundary conditions for the effect of trait mindfulness on employees' active innovation behavior. Finally, according to the empirical analysis results, this study puts forward effective management countermeasures and suggestions on how to stimulate employees' active innovation behavior in manufacturing enterprises, mainly including cultivating employees' mindfulness levels, stimulating employees' internal innovation motivation and creating a mutually beneficial and win-win enterprise atmosphere, which has a certain practical guiding significance for manufacturing enterprises to improve human resource management mechanism.#br#
