The Extrusion Effect of Regional Innovation Ability in Resource-intensive Areas |

Abstract Based on the data at the provincial level from 2001 to 2017,the relationship between regional innovation ability and resource dependence in regional economic development is analyzed through the system GMM estimation method and the impulse response function.The results show that high resource dependence can lead to the decline of regional innovation ability,so the negative extrusion effect exists,and the low regional innovation ability will increase the resource dependence,and there is bidirectional interaction.It is very easy to form a vicious circle.If the resource-intensive areas continue the traditional extensive development,it is difficult to improve the regional innovation ability.The areas will be forced to lock in traditional path dependence,and it's difficult to achieve the sustainable high-quality development of the economy and society.
