Abstract It is always a controversy in the academic community that material rewards promote or inhibit the behavior of knowledge sharing.Clarifying the impact and mechanism of material rewards on knowledge sharing helps to understand the existing research on the issue of the impact of material rewards on knowledge sharing and promote the further development of the theory.Based on the existing literature,this article clarifies the controversial relationship between material rewards and knowledge sharing,constructs a mechanism framework of material rewards for knowledge sharing and further analyzes the causes of disputes from the perspective of integration.Finally,aiming at the shortcomings of the existing research,it is proposed that in the future,indepth studies can be conducted by dividing knowledge types,refining material rewards and reward objects,introducing new perspectives,introducing new adjustments and intermediary mechanisms.This paper constructs the framework of the mechanism of material rewards for knowledge sharing,not only deepens the understanding of the material rewards impact on the knowledge sharing and promotes the further development of the theory,but also can better direct the corporation to use material rewards to manage the knowledge of employees.
