Abstract Entrepreneurship is a type of personal traits related to the international exploration of technologybased small and mediumsized enterprises, reflecting the enterprises' social capital and its inner drive. This paper, based on the resourcebased theory, constructs a conceptional model of entrepreneurship, social capital, resource endowment and the "born global" internationalization pathway choice of technologybased small and mediumsized enterprises(SME), validates the impact of interaction between entrepreneurship and social capital upon its pathway, and examines the moderating effect of resource endowment. The findings suggest that entrepreneurship and social capital can positively affect the"bornglobal" internationalization pathway choice of technologybased SMEs and that resource endowment can positively meditate the relationship between entrepreneurship and social capital and thus promote the technologybased enterprises to choose "BornGlobal" internationalization pathway.
