Ethical Leadership, Organizational Trust and Knowledge Sharing Behavior |

Abstract Drawing on social learning theory and social exchange theory and using a sample of 353 employees, the paper, attempted to probe the mechanism of the impact of the ethical leadership on employee knowledge sharing behavior, especially to explore the mediating role of organizational trust between ethical leadership and knowledge sharing behavior, and the moderated mediation role of psychological safety. It is found that ethical leadership had positive impact on employees’ knowledge sharing behavior, which was partly mediated by organizational trust. Furthermore, psychological safety played a moderated role between organizational trust and knowledge sharing behavior,ethical leadership had a stronger impact on knowledge sharing behavior when employee psychological safety was higher.
