The Contingent Relationship between Work Stressor and Employee Creativity:The Moderating Role of Psychological Empowerment |

Abstract The results of stressor effect on creativity are mixed in creativity research.The results showed that: psychological empowerment significantly decreased the effect of hindrance stressor on creativity, while has no significant effect on the relationship between challenge stressor on creativity, while significantly increased the effect of hindrance stressor on creativity; the self-efficacy dimension significantly increased the effect of challenge stressor on creativity, while significantly decreased the effect of hindrance stressor on creativity; the self-determination dimension has no significant moderating effect on the relationship between challenge stressor-hindrance stressor and creativity; the influence dimension significantly decreased the effect of challenge stressor on creativity, while has no significant moderating effect on hindrance stressor and creativity.
