Abstract From the perspective of positive psychology, the relationship between perceived organizational support of strength use (POSSU) and employee innovative behavior is explored. Results show that POSSU is positively associated with employee innovative behavior.Promotion focus and vitality of employee are the underlying mediating variable through which POSSU affect employee innovative behavior.Furthermore, the effect of POSSU on employee innovative behavior is stronger when supervisor exhibits a higher level of ambidextrous leadership style.
