Abstract As a fusion of financial innovation and technology innovation, the essence of patent securitization is to turn the future cash flow of patent into the present cash flow, achieve the unity of use value and trade value of patent technology and help enterprise obtain the funds required for further development. this paper makes a deep analysis of the operation mechanism of patent securitization and brings forward some suggestions that explore new financing channels for the development of small and mid-sized enterprise to promote the improvement of technology research ability and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.
