The Impact of Strategic Alliance Ambidexterity on Cooperative Innovation Performance: A Moderated Mediation Model |

Abstract Organizational ambidexterity has emerged as a new research paradigm of strategic management in the dynamic environment., yet several issues fundamental to this debate remain controversial. Based on network theory and ambidexterity view, this study discusses the impact of alliance ambidexterity on cooperative innovation performance and studies the mechanism of relational commitment and shared vision with a model of moderated mediator through collecting 253 questionnaires of the enterprises. The results show that: (1) alliance ambidexterity have a significantly positive impact on cooperative innovation performance, and relational commitment played a partially mediating role in the relationship between alliance ambidexterity and cooperative innovation performance; (2) relational commitment have a significantly positive impact on cooperative innovation performance, and shared vision have positive moderating effect on the relationship between alliance ambidexterity on cooperative innovation performance; (3) shared vision moderates the mediating effect of relational commitment on alliance ambidexterity on cooperative innovation performance.
