Abstract The coordinated development of regional economy is a difficult problem faced by the dual pressures of China's economic development on agglomeration and polarization. The Yangtze River Economic Belt, especially the underdeveloped provinces, undertakes industrial transfer in developed regions as an industrial route to solve the coordinated economic and social development. Industrial transfer activities, due to the different characteristics of the regional host-guest characteristics, present typical characteristics of multiple transfer and threshold transfer, which makes the research lack of scientific quantitative analysis and falls into blind spelling policy. In this paper, the efficiency of the model and the economic and social development of the degree of coordination of entropy analysis, measured in the Yangtze River Economic Belt provinces (cities) between 2004 and 2016 integrated industrial transfer efficiency, and examine the threshold effect value and change trends. The study found that the efficiency of industrial transfer in the provinces (municipalities) within the economic belt has increased significantly during the inspection period, but many provinces (cities) have inconsistent staged balance relationships, and this relationship has not yet revealed that Collaborative development capabilities.
