Abstract The Malmquist index method is used to measure the operational efficiency of China's technology market from 2006 to 2015, and GeoDa is used to spatially analyze the efficiency values of 30 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions). The main research conclusions include China's technology market's overall operating efficiency changes show an upward trend. Under the condition of unchanged output, the technical market's operating efficiency increases by an average of 7.2% per year. The overall increase in efficiency is rooted in the increase in the overall technical efficiency and the increase in efficiency. The small extent is mainly caused by technical changes; overall Moran's I shows that there is a negative correlation between the operating efficiency of the technical markets in each province (municipality, autonomous region), and the results of clustering analysis indicate that the eastern and northeast regions are economically developed. Agglomeration is high, while in the western region, there is a low concentration of efficiency; in terms of spatial changes, spatial concentration of technology markets is inconsistent. The concentration of technology markets in areas with low levels of economic development is much lower than in regions with high levels of economic development. After 2012, the development of posttechnology markets has become more and more consistent.
