Abstract Taking the science and technology talent pooling area as the research object, the paper creatively introduces complex networks to determine the concentration of science and technology talents in the core cities.At the same time, the Wilson model and the field strength model are combined for the first time to measure the radiation effect of science and technology talent pooling cities.The results show that there is a large spatial heterogeneity in the gathering of science and technology talents in our country, with a multilevel coreperiphery distribution; there is a big difference in the radiation range and radiation intensity in the core area where science and technology talents gather;At the same time, the paper gives the core area distribution and radiation effect intensity of the science and technology talents in our country.Based on this, some suggestions on how to optimize the development of talent structure are put forward to relevant regions in order to provide some theoretical reference for narrowing the development of the region.
