Abstract As an important part of inclusive innovation,grassroots innovation focus more on lowincome groups to actively participating in innovation activities to achieve selfworth.Grassroots innovation transforms the research ideas of inclusive innovation from the enterprise how to embed BOP market to explore the grassroots as innovative entities to carry out innovative activities and the results of the market promotion.This paper firstly introduced the conceptual definition and connotation analysis of grassroots innovation ,and then described the basic characteristics according to the case,lastly analyzed the key success factors from four aspects: opportunity recognition,result transformation,platform construction and popular science education,which provide reference and reference for the followup study and practice.
