Study on the Effect of Environmental Regulation and R&D Investment on Green Technology Innovation |

Abstract Green technology innovation needs to be stimulated by external incentives. Based on the review of environmental regulation policy,R&D input and green technology innovation, from the perspective of system dynamics, the paper constructs the system dynamics model of effect of environmental regulation and R&D policy on green technology innovation, and empirically tested the applicability of the model. The simulation results show that to strengthen environmental regulation and R&D can improve enterprise's green technology innovation ,environmental regulation in the short term is higher than the R&D investment in promoting effect, but in the long run below the promoting effect of governmental R&D investment. The R&D investment has positive effect on the green technology innovation, and growing over time. Finally, according to the simulation results, the paper puts forward policy suggestions for the future development of green technology innovation.
