Abstract The essential role of the transformation of traditional industries and the national innovation-driven strategy is the new product success in level of enterprise. On the basis of literature review and 380 Chinese enterprises empirical research, this paper proposed and confirmed that "dual orientation" human resource management system positive impacts the new product success, and the organizational flexible capability is an important mediating variable between them. "Dual orientation" human resource management system get "commitment orientation" and "control orientation" dual characteristics, so that it can produce positive impacts on new product success through organizational flexible capability. The conclusion provides a new theoretical interpretation to the mechanism of the new product success.
