Abstract Entrepreneurship research from cognitive view has been quite mature. However, emotional perspective research has just started and entrepreneurial passion has been paid much attention. This paper has reviewed the connotation, measure, outcomes, function mechanism and the source of entrepreneurial passion. And there are some problems in current researches, such as ambiguous concept, imperfect measuring scale, fragmented mechanisms, and unclear source. Therefore, this paper proposes an integrative model of entrepreneurial passion, and suggests to use case analysis in order to define entrepreneurial passion from individual, team and organizational level. Moreover, it appeals to develop new scale measuring entrepreneurial passion from components, and pays attention to the dark side of entrepreneurial passion, discusses the interaction between the mediations of entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial outcomes. And there should be cross-cultural study according to different kinds of entrepreneurial activities.
