Abstract Against the backdrop of digital technology and the interdependence of all things, the characteristics of unlimited links and value symbiosis have prompted enterprises to seek the effect of coexistence symbiosis, which also puts forward new requirements for leaders, that is, to become effective synergetic managers. Synergetic leadership is in line with digital transformation companies that emphasize the management method of "synergetic symbiosis", but the existing research has not systematically explored its conceptual connotation and structural dimension, and its mechanism of action is not clear. Therefore, on the basis of the interview data and theoretical research on leadership style, synergism and leadership, this study analyzes the feasibility of synergetic leadership, and uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to explore the connotation of synergetic leadership and develop a quantitative scale of synergetic leadership.#br#In view of the fact that the type of leadership style in traditional enterprises is not entirely applicable to the management method emphasizing "synergetic symbiosis" in the context of digital transformation, this study has an in-depth excavation of the conceptual connotation and function mechanism of synergetic leadership. On the basis of the semi-structured interviews and multi-source questionnaire surveys of 51 managers and employees, this study uses grounded theory and factor analysis methods to refine the dimension of synergetic leadership and develop the corresponding scale. In addition, this study has examined the prediction effect of synergetic leadership through the construction of a structural equation model and the data analysis of 286 employees from many industries, such as finance, manufacturing, computers and services.#br#The results show that synergetic leadership includes two dimensions of symbiosis and target consistency, as well as nine measurement questions. The symbiotic relationship measures whether leaders can achieve organizational growth within the border through organizational coordination and efficiency inside the organization, and achieve cross-border organization growth through organizational external synergetic efficiency increase. Target consistency measures whether the leader is capable of collaborating the personal goals and organizational goals, and stimulating employees' determination to achieve collective goals. In addition, this study builds the model of the relationship between the synergetic leadership-mutual trust-relationship network, and tests the predictive effect of synergetic leadership. The results show that synergetic leadership has a positive impact on the mutual trust and relationship network (intra-organizational relationship network and inter-organizational relationship network), among which the mutual trust plays a partially mediating role between synergetic leadership and relationship network.#br#The research provides a measuring tool for the empirical analysis and microscopic study of synergetic leadership, enriches the exploration of leadership style. First, by refining, summarizing and summarizing the new requirements of managers' behavior in the digital age, this study proposes synergetic leadership which is different from the traditional enterprise leadership style, and enriches the theoretical research on the types of enterprise leadership styles in the digital transformation era. Second, this study proposes the concept of " synergetic leadership", and develops a measurement scale and tests the predictive validity of the scale. Finally, it reveals the importance of synergetic leadership to the construction of relationship network in the process of digital transformation, and strengthens its predictive role.#br#Beyond the theoretical implications highlighted above, this paper puts forward management suggestions from three aspects. First and foremost, enterprises should pay attention to the cultivation of leaders' awareness and ability to create synergetic symbiosis. Then leaders should be conscious of internal and external linkage and value symbiosis. Third, leaders should pay attention to the changing needs of their subordinates.#br#In conclusion, this study contributes to a profound understanding of the diversity of leadership styles in the digital era, provides certain implications for promoting synergetic symbiosis within and between organizations, and offers a measurement tool for further exploration of synergetic leadership. The research conclusions also provide useful guidance for tackling management issues with the acceleration of the digital age, and a reference for leaders to achieve self-transformation.#br#
