Blockchain Contributes to the Scientific Research Integrity Management:Theoretical Demonstration and System Innovation |

Abstract Although the scientific research integrity management system has been set up, there are some defects such as weak information management, lack of evaluation index, low openness of results, improper application scope and weak supervision. It can not play the ideal effect of restraint. Blockchain is a rapidly developing and effective new technology in recent years. Its advantages of decentralization, data traceability and high security can just make up for the deficiencies of scientific research integrity management system. It can improve the scientific research fairness and management efficiency and reshape the scientific research credit system. Therefore, we need improving the legal system and the ability of information management, building a reasonable evaluation index system, improving the openness of results, adjusting the application scope and strengthening the supervision. Only in this way can we correct the untrustworthy behavior and ensure the development of scientific research activities in good faith.
