Synergy Innovation of Military-Civilian Integration,Spatial Correlation and the Performance of National Defense Innovation |

Abstract As an important way of military and civilian integration,synergy innovation has an important impact on the performance of national defense science and technology innovation. Based on the panel data of national defense patents of 30 provinces in China from 2009 to 2016,the paper constructs a spatial weight matrix from the perspective of geographical location and innovation capital flow,uses spatial econometric analysis methods to empirically investigate the impact of synergy innovation of military-civilian integration on national defense innovation performance by establishing an innovative synergy index system. The research shows that the spatial distribution of national defense innovation has significant high-value agglomeration. The synergy between research and academia,research and research has a significant negative impact on the performance of national defense innovation,and the synergy between the Industry and Research,Industry and academia has a significant positive impact on the performance of national defense innovation. The dynamic flow of inter-regional innovation capital is conducive to the spatial overflow of knowledge and the improvement of regional innovation performance. Research-research synergy promotes the performance of defense innovation in neighboring areas,while industry-research synergy promotes the output of defense innovation in areas closely interconnected with R&D capital flows. The research results of this paper have important policy implications for differentiating the differences of synergistic effects between different subjects,improving the coordination mode of national defense innovation organization and promoting the development of integration of military and civilian.
