TMT Career Calling, Ambidextrous Innovation and Enterprise Innovation Performance |

Abstract Based on the theory of motivation and the theory of high-level echelon, this paper investigates 335 enterprise executives, discusses the influence of fit of top managers′ career calling and strategic choice on enterprise innovation performance, and analyzes the mediating effect of ambidextrous innovation, and opens the black box between the relationship between top managers′ career calling and innovation performance.The results show that the top managers′ career calling positively affects ambidextrous innovation, and then improves the enterprise innovation performance.Top managers′ career calling and low intensity cost leading strategy can effectively improve the enterprise innovation performance, and the matching of high intensity differentiation strategy and focus strategy can also effectively improve the enterprise innovation performance.This conclusion provides theoretical reference and empirical support for realizing ambidextrous innovation and optimizing enterprise innovation output.
