Abstract Select relevant indicators to measure the current state of scientific and technological resources allocation by literature reading and investigation researching, Firstly, Qbased clustering is used to analyze the allocation of science and technology resources in Jiangsu cities，therefore，the urban distribution of each sample was initially presented；then, through the correspondence analysis, it reveals the behindthescenes role of the index variable "terrain" which effects the urban distribution of the sample. Discover the trend of Jiangsu science and technology resource allocation in recent years, some suggestions for optimizing the allocation of science and technology resources in Jiangsu were put forward.
