Abstract The core enterprise plays a decisive influence on the operation and development of the network. As an important variable, the network commitment maintains the network of cooperation, and gradually arouses the concern of scholars. This paper hackles the related research on the core enterprise leadership style, defines the conceptual connotation of the network commitment, establishes the theoretical model between the core enterprise leadership style, the network commitment and the network performance and puts forward the relevant hypothesis, verified through the questionnaire data. The results show that the transformative leadership style and transactional leadership style of the core enterprises have a positive impact on the network commitment. The network commitment has a positive effect on the network performance and innovation performance. The core business transaction style has positive effect on the network innovation performance. To the impact of the network relationship performance has inverted U-shaped impact. The transformational leadership style of the core business has a positive effect on the performance of the network relationship, and the inverted U-shaped effect of the innovation performance has not been verified.
