1 Research on the Dynamic Evolution of Cooperative Network based on Industry-University Joint-patent Data
Guo Jianjie,Xie Fuji,Wang Haihua,Wang Mengyi
From the perspective of social network, using the industry-university joint patent data from 1985 to 2016, the paper uses the method of social network analysis to construct the industry-university cooperative network and the inter-regional cooperative network. And it analyzes the basic characteristics of participants and the dynamic evolution of the network. The results show that the mode of cooperation changes from "one university-one enterprise'' to "universities-enterprises", and the inter-regional cooperation mode evolves from "one province-another province" to "one province-other provinces", the depth of cooperation is gradually increasing, but the cooperative width still needs to be further strengthened. Enterprises and universities maintain relative stability in the evolution, universities are concentrated and mostly comprehensive, and the fields of enterprises are concentrated in energy and high technology industry. "Geographic proximity" is a restrictive factor of industry-university cooperation, the proportion of intra-regional cooperation is greater than inter-regional cooperation. The industry-university cooperative network and the inter-regional cooperative network have significant asymmetrical characteristics.

47 Whether the Belt and Road Initiative Improve the Enterprise's Innovation
Li Qiumei,Lin Ling,Zeng Haijian
Based on the sample data of listed companies in China from 2012 to 2016, this paper examines the impact of the initial stage of the Belt and Road Initiative on corporate innovation. Firstly, the difference-in-difference estimation of panel double discovered that the innovation output of enterprises involved reduced significantly. Then, the conclusions are still consistent while using the PSM-DID model to avoid the endogenous problem. Finally, this paper found that the innovation output of non-state-owned enterprises involved in the initiative is more significant and more sensitive to government subsidies through difference-in-difference and triple-difference estimation. Therefore, the implementation of the initiative significantly improved the oversea income and return on assets. It shows that in the later stage of the initiative, the state needs to adopt government subsidies such as subsidies to improve the innovation of non-state-owned enterprises, and pay attention to the coupling and coordination degree between opening up and enterprise's innovation, and gradually realize the connection with high-end industries along the line.

81 Dual Innovation and Corporate Sustainable Development: the Mediating Role of Short-Term Financial Performance and Long-Term Competitive Advantage
Li Ruixue,Peng Can,Yang Xiaona
Based on the perspective of "innovation driven", this paper explores the impact mechanism of dual innovation on sustainable development of enterprises, and examines the intermediary role of short-term financial performance and long-term competitive advantage. Through the statistical analysis of 196 high-tech enterprises'questionnaires, it is found that the implementation of dual innovation will have a positive impact on the sustainable development of enterprises, but the impact paths of the two innovations are totally different. Short-term financial performance and long-term competitive advantage are the common intermediary variables between exploitative innovation and sustainable development of enterprises. As a mediating variable, long-term competitive advantage plays a complete mediating role between exploratory innovation and sustainable development of enterprises; for sustainable development of enterprises, the total effect of exploitative innovation is greater than the indirect effect of exploratory innovation. The research hypothesis and conclusions put forward and tested have important theoretical significance and application value.

Zhang Xinrong,Shen Jingqi,Chen Xujiang
On September 8, 2016, the results of the survey on China’s new energy vehicle fraud event were released, which aroused widespread concern in society. This paper first conducts case studies on the companies involved, and then takes the data of 123 listed companies in the new energy vehicle industry as a sample to examine the relationship between R&D investment and Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR). The study found that during the event window period, the reaction of the capital markets to involved companies was generally negative. And the degree of negative influence varies among R&D investment. Besides, this event causes an overflow effect on the new energy vehicle industry. The capital markets react negatively to the industry, but R&D investment can reduce the degree of negative reaction, providing “insurance-like” effects. The conclusions of the study can be used for enterprises to make scientific R&D strategies, and help industry associations, governments and the public effectively supervise companies to improve their innovation capabilities and fulfill their social responsibilities.

106 Does Venture Capital Affect Corporate Cash Holdings?
Chen Sanke,Zhao Bei
Based on the data of 823 China′s listed private manufacturing enterprises from 2009 to 2017, this paper discusses the impact of venture capital on the cash holding policy of high R&D investment enterprises. Results show that: the high R&D investment enterprises will hold more internal cash to meet future funding needs due to the existence of high uncertainty and information asymmetry. And venture capital can reduce the degree of information asymmetry between enterprises and their external investors through active and effective participation, thereby improve the financing environment, and reduce the enterprises′ excess cash holdings. Further, this effect is more pronounced in small-scale, low-profile, and technology-intensive enterprises. Finally, there are also some limitations and expectations should be considered in the future.
