Analysis of Team Knowledge Heterogeneity Effect on Creativity in Corporate Intrapreneurship Teams |

Abstract While corporate intrapreneurship team have significant heterogeneity. So,how to make full use of members' knowledge heterogeneity and enhance the creativity of corporate intrapreneurship team and individual members is of great significance. Therefore,based on the view of information exchange and the shared leadership theory,this paper introduces team knowledge sharing and individual information elaboration as mediators and shared leadership as moderator,constructs a multi-level model of team knowledge heterogeneity on team creativity and individual creativity. Multisource data which collected from 51 intrapreneurship teams was used to carry out empirical tests. The results show that: team knowledge sharing plays a mediating role in the influence of team knowledge heterogeneity on team creativity,and individual information elaboration plays a mediating role in the relationship between team knowledge heterogeneity and individual creativity. Shared leadership plays a mediating role between team knowledge heterogeneity and team knowledge sharing,team knowledge heterogeneity and individual knowledge heterogeneity. Volume information elaboration plays a positive regulatory role. Shared leadership positively regulates the indirect relationship between team knowledge heterogeneity and team creativity,and between team knowledge heterogeneity and individual creativity. The results of this study have certain reference value for team managers to make effective use of the advantages of team knowledge heterogeneity,stimulate the creativity of team and individual.
