A Study of the Spatial Correlation Network Structure of Inter-Provincial Intellectual Property Rights Protection in China |

Abstract In this paper, the principal component analysis method is used to calculate the intensity of inter-provincial intellectual property rights (IPR) protection in China from 2007 to 2017, and the spatial relationship of inter-provincial IPR protection in China is identified by the gravity model.On this basis, the social network analysis approach is employed to analyze the spatial correlation network structure of inter-provincial IPR protection in China.The results show that: Firstly, there exist significant regional differences in the intensity of IPR protection among provinces in China, and the intensity of IPR protection among provinces does not exist independently.Secondly, the spatial correlation of IPR protection among provinces in China presents a typical network structure.The network connectivity is good without obvious hierarchy, but the degree of spatial correlation needs to be strengthened.Thirdly, due to different levels of economic development and geographical location, different provinces have different performances in the spatial correlation network.Finally, the spatial correlation network of China's inter-provincial IPR protection is inseparable, and different sectors are interdependent.A good platform for information exchange is constructed by the spatial correlation network of Chinese IPR protection.
