Abstract Given to the fact that the research on boundaryspanning behavior is relatively lagging and presents a fragmented feature, this research first clarified the connotation of boundaryspanning behavior, then used the knowledge map method to conduct quantitative analysis of relevant literature on boundaryspanning behavior and the following conclusions were drawn:①the research hotspots are to explore the antecedents and outcome variables of boundaryspanning behavior as well as application of information technology in boundaryspanning behavior. China mainly studies the relationship between boundaryspanning search, organizational performance and innovation;②the research frontiers of international boundaryspanning behavior are to explore the relationship between boundaryspanning behavior and social capital, and application of institutional logic in boundaryspanning behavior. Besides, research on boundary spanner are discussed . On this basis, the antecedent variables, outcome variables and contingency factors of crossborder behavior were sorted out, the integrated framework of international boundaryspanning behavior research was constructed, and suggestions for promoting the development of boundaryspanning behavior research were put forward.
