Efficiency Evaluation of Science and Technology Service Industry in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration |

Abstract According to the content, "science and technology service industry"was divided into five subsectors. This paper set the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as the main research object, processed the input and output data during 2010-2016, and applied the superefficient DEA model, combining with the window analysis to evaluate the efficiency level of the five subdivided technology service industries in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. The research results show that the inefficient scale is the common factor that leads to the inefficiency of the overall technical efficiency of the science and technology service industry in the researched regions; the inputoutput structure of China's science and technology service industry needs to be optimized, and the scale effect should be expanded; the overall technical efficiency levels and trends of the science and technology service industry in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration are significantly different. Based on those result, the improvement suggestion was put forward for the five subdivided technology service industries in the national and Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations.
