| An Empirical Analysis on the Promotion for Agglomeration to Innovative Ecosystem of Strategic Emerging Industries |

Abstract As one of the important ways of modern industry innovation development, agglomeration will promote the knowledge production and collection, and thus will lead to the development of innovative ecosystem. Based on provincial panel data of five types of strategic emerging industries from 2011 to 2016, this paper empirically studies the promoting effect of agglomeration on the innovative ecosystem of strategic emerging industries by using the method of panel quantile estimation. The results show that agglomeration has obvious promoting effect on innovation network and innovation ability of innovative ecosystem for new energy industry, highend equipment manufacturing industry, biomedicine industry and environment protect Industry. But agglomeration has not shown a significant promotion effect on the innovation environment of innovative ecosystem of the whole strategic emerging industry.
