Research on Enhancing Mechanism of the Comaker Space Effect: from the View of Community Informatics

Abstract Under the encouragement of the public entrepreneurship and innovation,there is a huge surge in the number of comaker space in China.However,many comaker spaces present poor effect.In order to improve the effect and promote the sustainable development of the comaker spaces,this paper builds a theoretical framework of ICT technology interventionthe structure and openness of community spacecommunity knowledge multilevel interactionthe comaker space effect improvement,which is based on the community informatics theory. Under the guidance of the framework,this paper selects three successful comaker spaces, bioclub, entrepreneur's training camp in Peking university and fountown,and uses multiple cases study method to analyze the inner mechanism of effect enhancement to provide some feasible suggestions for the enhancement of comaker spaces effect in China.
