Abstract The paper introduces the new concept "sci-tech finance maturity", and constructs the evaluation index system of sci-tech finance maturity from four aspects of the capital amount,the investment performance,the structure and the environment of sci-tech finance,then designs the calculating methods of sci-tech finance maturity index and sub index.Based on the data of China,it makes empirical analysis using the evaluation index system,the results show that the trends of the capital amount sub index,the environment sub index,maturity index are rising from 2003 to 2013,the investment performance sub index begins to go up from 2009,the structure index is not showing a up or down trend.From above,we judge that the sci-tech finance maturity is the stage of optimized development under government guides,and put forward relevant suggestions.
