Abstract Reviews the concept and dimension of leadership based upon existing literatures and points out its limitations.Literature review on the relationship between leadership and knowledge transfer is conducted in terms of research content, research method, research conclusion and research level, of which organizational, project team, and individuallevel are emphasized.Several new directions of future study are identified, including the mechanism of leadership and knowledge transfer, the crosslevel examination of leadership and knowledge transfer, and the dynamic evolution analysis of leadership and knowledge transfer.
